Furia's Pov

Music blasted through the speakers as I got to work on the shellraiser. My hair was up in a ponytail but some strays hung out in the front. Sweat clung to the back of my neck but I didn't mind all too much. I was wearing a black T-shirt with some worn and ripped blue jeans. Paired with my galaxy converse that I custom painted. I felt relaxed and super comfortable. Working on the shellraiser really made me happy and content.

I froze my work as the song stopped. There was a moment where I thought someone might have come in and turned it off on me but that quickly went away as a new song filled the speakers. I breathed in deeply taking in the new song.

The song opened with a techno beat that sounded like small raindrops hitting hard pavement backed up with some drum. It was one of my favorite songs to listen to since I loved rain and the song just caught the idea so perfectly. The song always made me feel super relaxed. It-

"FURIA!" I was suddenly brought out of my thoughts when someone screamed my name. A loud gasp escaped my mouth as I jumped resulting in me hitting my head hard on the vehicle above me. Profanities spewed from my mouth as my head started to throb. I moved out from where I was working to see Donnie standing above me.

A blush crept on my face and I quickly stood up, almost losing my balance but catching myself.

You'd think I wouldn't be embarrassed anymore since Donnie has seen me be clumsy plenty of times over the two years I've know him. But I'm the same old Furia, kind of but we'll talk about that later.

I brushed the dirt that was finding a home on my pants away, expecting that Donnie would start speaking on his own. When he never did I looked up rather quickly but then froze. Maroon eyes stared back at me. Whatever sarcastic remark I was going to make automatically caught in my throat. I have no idea why Donnie still has this effect on me, but he just does. I could feel my face once again take on a light shade of pink as I stared deeply back at him.

What's he staring so intently at?

"Donnie what's-" A loud gasp interrupted my sentence as Donnie laid his hand on my face. He stuck his tongue out in concentration as he wiped something off my cheek which had now become super hot.

"There!" He commented as he took his hand away and took a step away from me.

I felt a little dizzy but I ignored it, it's nothing right?

I knew exactly how dumb I looked but I was too in shock to move. My eyes were wide, a blush taking over half my face, and lips parted ever so slightly.

"Sorry I scared you, is your head okay?" At the question I became aware of the slight pain in my head. But I'm not one to admit when I'm hurt. Which yes I know it's stupid, I never said I thought it was a good decision. So of course instead of telling Donnie it hurt...

"Nah I'm totally fine." I surprisingly spoke with confidence even though the dizziness I had felt a couple seconds ago seemed to make its way back to me.

Come on Furia! You only hit your head, Woman up!

"Alright well anyway it's time for Patrol." Donnie grinned widely and I practically melted at the gap tooth smile. I smiled right back, chuckling shortly afterwards.

"Okay just let me grab my bo staff." I ran to the opposite side of the room, which let me tell you was a bad decision cause it made me feel sick. I closed my eyes leaning on my bo-staff for support.

I'm fine. I'm fine. I'm--

I opened my eyes and the world spinned around me. I sat down trying to ground myself.

"Eh on second thought I feel kinda dizzy." I admitted shyly. Donnie walked over and helped me up slowly.

"You should rest then, we won't be long." Donnie led me to the bed against the wall in his lab.

Man I haven't slept on this one in a long time.

Donnie got me an ice pack and then headed out. I let my eyes close and sleep take me.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I tripped falling to the ground. Fear coursed through my veins. I don't remember what I was running from. But I know one thing for sure.. I'm scared. I flipped over in a panic. Something was charging at me.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

My eyes flashed open and I sat up in bed. My breathing was sporadic. Tears started to make there way down my cheeks. What was that?

A dream...

Just a dream. ..

So why do I still feel so... afraid.

After a few minutes I finally got a hold of myself. I walked to my room numbly, feeling weird.

"Furia?" The voice made me jumped, a small squeal escaping my mouth. I spun around and almost fell over in relief, it was only sensei. I put a hand to my heart, slouching over.

"Oh thank god it's only you." I breathed out, but I still felt a little on edge.

"Who else would it be?" Sensei raised a brow at me. The question ran through my mind, and I had no idea how to answer it. Who did I think it was? Why was I so scared? Who was chasing me in my dream?

"I-- don't know..." I looked into my father's eyes as if searching for the answer. The answer I knew he didn't have. Splinter squinted at me and then stroked his small beard.

"Perhaps we should have some tea and meditation." He stated instead of asking but I nodded in approval. Tea sounded like just what I needed.

(TIME SKIP -Sorry that I'm not sorry)

I had told sensei about my dream and he had gone silent looking into the distance. So I let myself get lost in my own thoughts, questions whirled around quickly, questions I didn't know the answer to. Suddenly Splinter cleared his throat making me look up. He seemed upset with something.

"Furia usually dreams have a special meaning. And this particular one was different.. now it could be nothing but there is a theory I have but we will need Donnie so we will have to wait until he and his brothers return."

Sorry this is short the next chapter will be longer... I hope. I have part of an idea for this story so just stay with me.
