Jean POV:

I walked alongside Armin and he flipped through his notebook that he carried everywhere. I tried multiple times to look into it but he always found me trying to take it and I never was able to look in it.

Flashback:

I sneaked into Armin's cabin and ran for his dresser. I opened the drawer and found his notebook. I quickly grabbed it  and attempted to open it but there was a lock on the side of it. I groaned in frustration and shuffled through his drawer. I didn't even realize that Armin was standing behind me with arms closed and his eyebrows furrowed. I chuckled and quickly put the book back and messily closed the drawer.

"Ah...um hello...Armin." "What're you doing here?" I asked nervously while chuckling. Armin scoffed and put his foot out. "Jean, this is my cabin, give me the notebook." Armin said as he held out his hand. I went back in the drawer and picked the notebook out I handed it to him and rolled my eyes. "Thank you." Armin said as he put it in his pocket and smiled. "Okay, let's go." Armin said as he walked out. I reluctantly followed him.

Normal Time:

"Armin, will I ever get to see what's in that notebook?" I asked and looked at Armin who was furiously writing in his notebook. Armin looked up and blushed at me. I chuckled and he looked into his notebook covering his face.

"Um...may-maybe." "I don't know." Armin said quickly and I groaned and gave him puppy-dog eyes and he looked at me. "Pleaseeeee?" "I won't tell anyone." I begged.

"Jean you'll judge me." "It's personal stuff." Armin said while hugging the notebook. "Ha, if I was going to, I already would've you know that." I said and I pinched Armin's cheek and he blushed.

"Fine." "But you can't judge me." "Tell me your honest opinion though." "If that makes sense." Armin said while handing me the notebook, looking away. I immediately opened it and flipped through it. The first few pages were battle notes and then I reached the good spot of the book. I read it.

Dear Reader or Me Basically,

I can't stop looking at him. I love him. He doesn't love me back though. He's so funny and nice and, beautiful. I wish he was mine. Jean. He doesn't deserve me. He deserves better. Maybe Mikasa, someone of the opposite gender. He would never me; a person of the same gender.  But I wish he could. Jean please.

I looked at Armin who stood there and traced the dirt with his foot. He rubbed his arm and refused to look at me. "That's why I didn't want you to see it." "You were the last person I wanted to see it." I got up and pulled Armin into my chest he gasped and I held the book down to my side and I lightly gripped Armin's blonde hair and rested my head on his head. "You wanna know something?" I whispered into his head. "Um what?" He asked quietly. "You're not Mikasa." "You're better than Mikasa, I want to date you, plus Mikasa is too obsessed with Eren." I said and Armin gripped the back of my shirt and cried into my shirt. "Hey." I said while lifting Armin's face to look up at me. "Will you date me?" I asked and he nodded still crying into my shirt.

"And...will you get me one of those?" I asked and Armin playfully hit me and chuckled into my shirt. "Okay, we'll share your notebook then." I said. "Yes we will." Armin said and I hugged him and he hugged back.
