Idk why, but this is one of my favorite stories I've written, and I've written a lot of stories! I just love this one and hopefully you do too! (: Btw this is one of the separate stories I made before and was added to the book.
Eren POV:
"GOD I CAN'T STAND YOU, GET OUT OF MY WAY YMIR!" (Y.N) yelled at Ymir who was badmouthing (Y.N) for her troubles.
"YOU WILL BECOME TITAN FOOD, YOU DON'T DESERVE TO LIVE YOU CAN'T PROTECT ANYONE!" "LOOK AT WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR FAMILY!" Ymir yelled at (Y.N).
When Ymir said that everyone went silent and stared at to see what (Y.N) was going to do next.
(Y.N) turned to look at Ymir, she gave Ymir a look that would make anyone run.
"What did you say?" (Y.N) asked sternly.
"Look at what happened to your family." Ymir said bluntly back to (Y.N).
(Y.N) ran to Ymir, her fist aimed right for her face.
"YOU DO NOT BRING MY FAMILY INTO THIS!" (Y.N) said then Ymir fell to the ground.
(Y.N) stood at Ymir's feet then squatted to Ymir who sat up rubbing her bruised cheek.
"You do not bring my family into this." (Y.N) said then stood back up and walked away, leaving everyone to rush to Ymir to see if she was okay.
Everyone knew that (Y.N)'s family died to the titans, she wasn't the only person that lost people I myself lost my mom but everyone knew not to bring up her family because (Y.N) felt guilty for the death of her family even though she wasn't the cause of their deaths. She believed she could've saved them but in reality she couldn't have. That was the sad part.
When the fight took place I was sitting with Mikasa and Armin, watching it all go down.
Mikasa didn't care she just kept eating her food while me and Armin watched.
When (Y.N) left I went to follow her but as I got up Mikasa pulled my sleeve.
"Where are you going?" "Not after her are you?" Mikasa asked bluntly.
"I just wanna talk to her." I said and tried to shake Mikasa's hand off of my arm.
I liked (Y.N) and I wanted to be there for her when stuff like this happened but the problem was, would she let me come into her life?
Mikasa let me go and went back to eating and I ran to (Y.N) who was leaning on the wall a tear falling from her eye.
She saw me heading towards her and she started to leave. I caught her arm and she turned and growled at me.
"Let go." She said.
"Hear me out." I said and loosened my grip on her arm but I didn't let go.
"I DON'T WANT TO HEAR WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY YOU BASTARD!" She yelled tugging her arm away my grip tightened again.
"Please, I see you like this everyday and I want to be there for you, your not the only person who lost someone I lost my mom, and a little bit of myself, but seeing you made me realize I can't lose who I am, who I was, I had to be there for people who needed more support like you."
"Sentimental talk isn't going to help anything." "IT ISN'T GOING TO BRING MY FAMILY BACK!" She attempted to punch me but I caught her fist with my free hand.
I tugged her closer to my face and she blushed lightly.
"It will bring back who you were, let me be there for you because I love you and I want to see you love everyone, not fight them."
"Eren." "Why are you doing this?" She asked through her tears.
"I already said, because I love you."
After a few minutes of her staring blankly at me her eyes welled up with tears again and she laid her head on my shoulder.
"Please, don't leave me Eren."
I wrapped my arms around her and she did the same.
"I swear I won't." "Now come and eat."
She nodded her head and we walked back in the eating quarters and started a new chapter on mine and her life.
