*Sophomore Year*
Lexi's Point of View"LEXI! Get up it's the first day back at school!" My mom yelled as she walked into my room to hang up some of my clothes. Great, another year. I just pull my blanket over my head. "Lexi." My mom says softly, as she pulls back my covers. The cold hit my body causing me to shiver. "Get up. Skylar will be here in 40 minutes."
Ever since the first day of Freshmen year Skylar and I would walk to school. Whenever, it rained we would hitch a ride with my older brother Dylan who is a senior this year.
I grabbed my phone and got up. I pulled out a red crop top, a pair of black high waisted shorts, and my white converse. Then I ran to the bathroom take a quick shower, brush my teeth, apply a little concealer and mascara.
I walked out of the bathroom ran down stairs and grabbed an apple, when I got a text from Skylar:From: Sky ❤😆
Just Left. Be there in 5.

Well then. Someone's cranky they have to go back to school today. Be out in in a sec."Bye Mom, bye Dad. See you at school Dyl!" I yell as I grabbed my bag by the door and ran out to see Skylar.
"Hey girl." Skylar beamed. "Hey Sky!" I said as we started to walk. It was such a pretty day in California. It was 75 degrees right now. Absolutely perfect.
"So you excited for sophomore year?" Sky asks. No. "I mean, I guess. I just don't want to do anything to be honest. I just wish that summer hadn't gone by so fast. I mean, all I did was go to volleyball practice, that was pretty much it." I said.
"Lex... I know. I was with you the whole summer." She said laughing. "Well I know that but this summer sucked."
"I know, I wish volleyball didn't take up the whole summer." She said. "Yeah." By the time we finished our conversation we were at school. Ugh... I'm not ready for this.I walk in and the smell of old textbooks and fake people went into my nose. I just shrugged it off and walked to my locker with Sky. We were lucky enough to have our lockers very close to each other. On the way I noticed Sky tense up. When I looked up I saw Lucas. Don't notice me. Please don't notice me. Right after that thought I felt a pain against my shoulder. Luke just bumped into me. I guess I got what I asked for, he technically didn't notice me...
"Watch where you're going will ya." Luke said snickering over his shoulder. Same old shit, but a different day.
I finally made it to my locker when I saw Riley and Leah. Sky, Riley, Leah, and I screamed and ran to each other. I couldn't believe that their lockers were close to ours. Despite Lucas this could be a good year after all.
The warning bell rang and I made my way on to English with the girls. I was lucky because Sky and I had almost the same schedule. The only thing that was different was 5th period and 7th Period. She had Geometry 5th and US History 7th. I had Geometry 7th and US history 5th, so it was just flipped.
We walked into English when I noticed Lucas was in this class. Great... More harassment. So far I had been lucky. I had only gotten hurt by him once last year, when I was walking home from school alone because Sky was sick.
*Flashback*
The final bell rang when I walk out of Algebra and went to grab my books that I needed for homework and walked out of school. I put in my headphones and started to walk home. Walking home alone felt a little weird. Is someone following me? Probably not. I'm just paranoid.
