Lexi's POV:
* Saturday*I lay in my bed not moving, just laying there. I haven't left the house, let alone my room, since I got back Friday morning. My mom has been staying with my dad at the hospital, they might let him out on Monday. Obviously, we will have to keep a close watch on him when he is back. Dylan has been out with his friends, he has been saying that hanging out with people will keep his mind off of things. He's lucky that he can do that, I dwell on things, aka right now.
I was snapped out of my thoughts when I got a text.
Sky: Lex what's going on? U haven't talked to me in forever!
Lex: I don't want to talk about it.
Sky: I'M COMING OVER WHETHER U LIKE IT OR NOT!Well damn...
I got out of bed and ran down the stairs. She knows where the emergency key is and really don't want to talk to anyone... I needed to beat her to it. Knowing her she was 30 seconds away when she texted. I opened the door I looked out and saw Sky. We made eye contact and she started running towards the rock that has the key under it without thinking I ran for it too. I made my way to the rock before she got there.
I grabbed the key and started to run towards the house. Before I could get to far Sky jumped on my back and tackled me to the ground. She fiddled with my hands until she got the key. She got up very satisfied and walked back over to the rock and put the key back under it. Without saying a word, she dragged me back into the house.
Once we got in she sat me on my couch.
"Before you do or say anything, stay put." Sky said walking off, back to the front door.
Obviously not listening to what she just said, I started to speak. "Sky? What are you doing?" I ask.
I heard the door open and then another pair of feet walking down the hallway. Sky walked back in and not alone, she was with Liam. What the hell!
I glared at him. He definitely told her. UGH! Why does he feel the need to share my personal life with people! Then again I told him and we only ever hung out once. He looked at me with guilt and sorrow in his eyes.
"Look, Lexi I had to tell her. I saw her later that day and I couldn't not tell her... I mean she's your best friend. I knew that you wouldn't tell her, so I did." He said looking down. Tears started rolling down my face.
"Lexi. I'm your best friend. Hell I'm practically your sister!" She walked over to me. "This affects me to. Your dad is like my second dad. Lexi why won't you talk to me." She said while her eyes were getting glassy.
"I-I don't like or want t-to talk about-t. I o-only told Liam be-because he saw me after 12 hours of crying-g." I said sobbing.
"Lexi. I can help you get through this. So can Liam." She said looking back at him. I noticed that she had a tear making its way down her face.
"We are your friends, and we love you Lex. We're here to help." She said looking back at me with a faint smile on her face.
"How about this instead of talking about it right now. We invite Cody, Leah, and Riley here to watch some movies together. Happy movies." She continued.
"O-Okay. I need to change though, I'm still in my pajamas." I said. I hugged her so tight.
I walked over to Liam I pulled him into a hug."Thanks for doing the hard part for me, and thank you for caring." I pulled away and flashed him a smile with everything that I could, which was little to none. I made my way to my room to look more presentable.
