James and I sit there in silence as our train moves rapidly, leaving trees and lakes far behind.

"Funnily enough, only now did I realize you have the same surname as one of my best buds," James speaks up, chuckling at himself while making eye contact with me.

"Yep, it's the same as Logan's," I reply, smiling.

James sort of stares at me for a while.

"Are you two possibly related to each other?" he asks me out of the blue. "I mean, it'd be an amusing coincidence if it turned out I'd found Logan's relative here in Poland," he adds quickly.

"No, I don't think we're relatives," I laugh softly. "I think I'd have known it if we were. Henderson is a pretty common surname in the USA. But you're right, it'd be an interesting coincidence for me to have a famous relative."

James is still staring at me.

"Does Logan have any relatives here in Poland anyway?" I ask him.

"I'm not sure... He's never mentioned that before," James says to me.

Now it's so tempting for me to ask James why he came up with this awkward question concerning Logan's and mine possible family bonds... But the train just stops on the main station of my city.

"We're here, let's go," I say, standing up quickly.

I lead James to the station's building where Mike should be waiting.

"Nessie!" Mike exclaims, pulling me in for a hug. "Long time no see! You've no idea how much I missed you..."

"Mike, you've no idea how much I missed you either," I say while pulling away. "Oh, please meet my bud James."

"Hi, I'm glad to meet you," Mike's smile fades a bit as he hesitantly shakes hands with James. "Excuse my curiosity, but how come you didn't tell me you were going to have more guests, Nessie?" he asks suspiciously.

"Oh, I honestly didn't know if I'd make it to Poland in time for Nessie's birthday," James chimes in, smiling reassuringly. "Luckily, I made it, sorry it turned out as a major surprise."

"Don't be sorry, it's okay, James," I tell him. "Okay, guys, let's head to the hotel now, shall we?" I add, addressing both guys.

"Yep, let's go," James and Mike pick up their luggage almost instantly.

We take a cab and off we go to the nearest hotel.
