Chapter 7 : Blessings.

Time is a funny thing no matter what happens it keep's going, even if it stops for a second some where in the world, time is moving and for Rhemiel and Recce time was galloping towards her final days, Recce spent less and less time with her only because he was in pain he could not fine away to keep her here, he wished he could stop time and make her stay '' you could go with her?'' Ariel said one day to him they were in the den, '' um no, I need to stay....here you know for the kid's'' he replied ''right'' Ariel said smiling ''what?'' he  said as Michael walked in caring a tray of drinks ''yay hot chocolate'' Ariel said  she was handed a cup, recce took a cup also ''so what did I miss?" Michael said  he sat next to Recce who was  now sipping his drink, ''recce is to afraid to go with Rhemiel'' ''no, the kid's need me'' ''right'' they both said '' oh shut up, fine  she hasn't asked me, so there you go'' ''you go ask her'' Ariel said '' fine'' he grabbed his cup and headed of to find Rhemiel, she was out sided sitting on the porch swing Michael had made she was wrapped in a shall, '' can I sit?'' ''sure, oh hot chocolate'' he handed her the cup she took a sip ''it's good right, say what you want about humans they make good food'' recce said '' yes but we need to rashion our supplies, the next ran is in two weeks'' she stated looking at him his eye's where so brown today she thought, ''hey red'' ''yes'' '' you know how your leaving soon'' '' yes'' ''why? haven't asked me to come'' ''you know why?'' ''forgiveness red, your an Angel an Arch Angel in fact and you still can't forgive me'' ''would you forgive me if it was reversed?'' '' probley not'' ''see'' '' fine'' ''fine'' '' I should head back, I'll see you'' she watched him get up and walk towards the trees leaving foot prints in the snow, he left his drink on the porch, she stayed out side till darkness fell  and the star's came out then she headed to bed.

the next couple of day's went by in a blink and soon it was the start of another week Rhemiel and Ariel decided to go for a walk, they walked along a snow covered path an saw a clearing a head of them suddenly Ariel doubled over in pain , Rhemiel looked around then saw why Ariel was in pain '' Hayes'' '' miss me?'' ''not really, what are you doing here?'' she asked holding Ariel '' my, my you read about such things but to actually see it, it's beautiful'' ''what thing's?'' Ariel asked standing up '' we'll my dear, since I killed your lover, you can fell me coming it's a demon thing don't ask me how it works it just dose'' '' so it's a prick warning'' Ariel said going for her blade, '' if you say so, look I did you a favour'' '' really how so'' '' Ariel come on now your ready to be a weapon'' '' so you killed jo ,to motivate me to take you down?" "in away...yes. now you have a fire in you! an you wont hesitate when the time comes" Hayes steps closer his eyes still on them "lets test that theory" as Ariel said, that a tall demon stepped out of the woods clenching her fists, she was very intimidating Ariel grasped her blade closer to her back, Hayes chuckled "how 'bout a game of one on one, ladies meet Carmen,Carmen  meet my two favourite arch angles, favourite arch  angels Carmen, Carmen take your pick'' '' I'll take the one on the left, she's fiery'' ''great'' Rhemiel said taking a step forward Carmen also took a step closer, then punched Rhemiel in the face, Rhemiel had no time to grab her blade, the punch sent her few a fence and broke her nose, ''bitch'' Rhemiel said as she tried to get up a bit of wood was  lodged in her side, Ariel looked at Hayes ''let's dance'' he smiled '' let's'' and he grabbed at her he pushed her  back and few a tree, she reached for her blade and stabbed him in the side, he smiled '' good girl'' ''your discussing'' she said as she pushed him off her, Rhemiel was now standing and struggled to pulled the wood out she flinched as it gave, '' is that the best you can do?'' she asked Carmen, '' nope how about I take your wings''  '' you can try'' '' gladly'' Carmen  walked over and picked her up of the ground and few her in to the snow face down then knelt down on her back, now something amazing happened her mind she  screamed out and called for recce and he heard it, he sat up from his bed, put down the book he was reading and flew off it took him a while but he got there as his wings were damaged from the explosion from the tree, Rhemiel did not know yet but she would now, he landed, well kind of fell as he landed, '' recce this does not concern you walk away'' Hayes said as he hit Ariel in the face, in his mind '' red, are you okay?'' '' do I look okay, get her off me''   he tried to fly but his wings hurt '' red your on your own I can't'' ''recce'' he looked down, Rhemiel could not understand what was happing then she felt pain in her back then heard a frump sound, then she past out and everything went dark.

She woke up In a strange bed, she was banged up and could smell food, she heard Michael talking, from down the hall someone was in the room with  her, she tried to move but couldn't her wings were banged also, '' hey don't move''  it was recce ''recce.....where am I?'' ''my room'' ''say what?'' ''look it's fine red, just rest and it will be fine'' '' why? didn't you say anything?'' '' about?'' ''your wings, show me?'' ''okay'' he turned around so she could see his wings,  they were damaged, burnt, Rhemiel reached out and touched them, her touch was soft and so gentle, he wanted to tell right there how he felt about her, but he let the  moment pass, she touched both wings and they healed ''there now all better'' ''red I...um you hungry?'' '' a little, how long was I out? and is Ariel okay?'' ''three days and she is fine, actually she saved you'' '' oh can I see her?'' ''nope Michael said if you get out of that bed before your wings heal, he will tie you down'' ''okay! stay in bed where have you been sleeping?'' she asked '' on the couch, ill get you some soup and I'll send in Ariel'' '' thank you'' ''anytime red'' he left the room she knew at this moment that she should count her blessings, for  tomorrow was fast and time was even  faster and it was bring the moment were she would have to walk away from this place, from her life here and from him.
