Chapter 8 : Give a little, take a little.

Rhemiel  was home now and walking around today she was geting her bandages off, Ariel removed the bandge slowly, one wing was free and she moved it, it was stiff but felt good, stronger  the other wing was now free ''so when can i fly?'' recce was standing in the hall way, she was so beautiful, Michael walked up behind him ''hey'' he whispered ''oh hey what's up?'' recce wispered back ''so how long?" ''what?'' '' how long have you been in love with Rhemeil?'' '' a while......how?  you can tell'' '' your standing in a hall way stearing at her, plus Jo told me agess ago'' ''right....don't tell her'' ''I won't but you, most deffently should'' ''one day''  ''we shall see'' he walked in to the room '' how's your wings?'' he asked '' good when can i fly agian?'' '' today?'if you like' '' really, oh thank god'' she smiled relived.

she got up of the bed streached her wings and headed outside, she calmly she stood in the snow it cam up to her ankle she let her wings be free, they were so red and so beautiful agents the snow, she closed her eyes and lifted off the ground, then fell straight back down it to the cold snow, '' crap'' she said as she stood back up, by now she was not alone the others all stood back and watched, trying to be supportive  she stood tall, not that it helped she was still short her wings just kissed the snow, she turned and glanced over at the others '' look I really can't do this if your all gona watch'' ''sorry'' they all said and headed back in doors, recce walked over and stood next to her he took her hand '' close your eyes, ( she did as he said) now red think of something that brings you joy'' ''I can't'' ''why not?'' ''because, I don't want you to know what brings me joy" ''oh right, I will not look I'll stay out of your mind'' she still had her eyes closed and started to think about what made her happy, what would bring her joy, recce pooped in to her mind and as soon as she saw his face she lifted up in to the air and recce let go of her hand and she flew away, he smiled ''that's my girl'' he said as he to headed back in door's, as she flew few the clouds she saw the sun, felt it's warmness, saw every valley, the burnt fields, the rivers and the sea, she saw everything that was made.

after wards she landed in the snow Hayes was waiting for her ''what do you want?'' ''to see how you are" ''right like you care'' ''I do, Rhemiel I need you to be 100% so you can get the book" ''how did you know ?'' ''about the  book, Rhemiel please I know every beat of your heart, and I know why? your really leaving'' ''stop it" '' does he know?" ''no of course not, why? would I tell him'' ''because, if he knew then'' ''then he's life would be...... I won't put him in danger I've lost enough.... I want loss him'' ''no your just going to let him believe you don't have felling's for him, to what? To  protect him'' '' just go'' ''ill see you around'' ''good bye, Hayes''  she watched him go then headed inside and straight to her room, as she sat on the bed she felt so alone, she wanted to tell recce everything, the real reason she was going, how much he meant to her, how much his touch, his kiss affected her, how much she actually loved him, and she was so in love with him, the thought of hurting him made her fell sick, in fact it was the reason she would not forgive him, if she kept him away, he would live, would be safe, not telling him was her being kind besides he didn't fell the same, it was one sided so why? did he need to know something only she felt? she go laid down on her bed and watched the sun dance around her room, she must have fell asleep because when she woke  Ariel was sitting in the chair in her room and it was dark out, '' hey'' ''hey, what time is it?'' she asked as she sat up, Ariel smiled ''after 6, you were talking in your sleep'' ''really?'' ''yes'' ''what did I say?'' ''you were asking for recce'' ''what?" ''don't worry he left hours ago, Rhemiel you said other things too" '' like what?''  she , looked worried '' you said, that you loved him"  ''oh, right well that's not important'' ''why?'' ''because he doesn't love me'' ''oh hunn'' '' hey it's fine, what's for dinner?'' '' um pasta'' Rhemiel got up and they headed down to the kitchen, little did Rhemiel know that Ariel knew a secret, and it was really so important, but she couldn't tell as it was not her secret to tell it was recce's.

after dinner Rhemiel washed up '' I'll never get use to seeing that'' ''what?'' she asked recce as he walked in and stood next to her, he smelt like a flower and coffee, '' seeing you wash up, your the most amazing being I've ever meet and your washing dishes'' 'someone has to, make your self useful and wipe up'' '' okay'' ''just put them on the table, ill put them away'' ''right'' he grabbed a tea towel and started to wipe up a plate he looked so cutie, not knowing what he was doing, she smiled ''what?'' he asked ''you look cutie, that's all'' ''shut up, I'm rugged and manly'' '' yes, so much so'' he finished with the plate and put it on the table, how ever it was still wet and slipped out of his hand a broke on the table Rhemiel started to laugh  ''don't'' he said looking down she couldn't help it she burst in to laughter, ''right'' he put the tea towel over the chair walked over to the sink and wet his hand and wiped it across her face, she was still laughing,  ''sorry but it's funny recce'' ''funny, ill show you funny'' he started to tickle her '' no, no stop'' ''see not so funny'' she managed to grab a cup full of water '' red no'' she pored it over his head, '' yep, your right that was funny'' she dropped the cup and darted to the other sided of the room so now the table was between them, he smiled, he was loving this, she looked so beautiful and so alive, he moved for her and pretended to hit his hip  ''ouch'' she stoped and moved towards him ''are you okay?'' she asked reaching for him he grabbed her hands ''you tricked me? ass'' ''oh but this is fun, right red?'' he wanted to kiss her, they looked at each other once again, wanting to disappear in the moment and be together, it would have been so easy to just say does three words '' I love you'' but never would budge, instead he let go and left her standing alone she let her head fall in sadness and then snow started to fall.
