lgbtq+ fics [more of a rant i guess]

there are so many LGBT+ characters who deserve fics where they are that sexuality.

do we get that?

no!

look at this section of Alec Lightwood fics [canon gay character, in the books he never got with a female woman or proposed to anyone. Only MAGNUS BANE. He never proposed to Magnus (I believe), but they had two kids.]

oh look at that only one gay fic.

if you actually read the books, you would know clary asks izzy almost right away if Alec is gay.

so, we are clearing messing with Alec's poor sexuality.

now, I'm all good if it's a character who isn't confirmed to be anything.

so let's say Dean Winchester, the subtext is real. I'm not going to tell you to go and make a million DeanxMale fics!

it would be nice to have a couple, instead of me reading the Highschool!Destiel AUs.

now we move onto the canon Bisexual characters!

now this may come as a shock but it's called fanfiction for a reason. you can make anyone gay or straight.

these characters deserve more fics with the same sex, and if you can think of more LGBTQ+ characters and real people who do, go for it!

I just see how it's unfair, that we will make straight fics for Nico di Angelo and Alexander Lightwood, but hardly any gay fics.
