He was grieving, before he turned his humanity off, he told her ghost, who was watching from the Other Side, without him consciously knowing, that he was taking her body home (like Kacie is doing with Tyler's body in this chapter, taking him home.)*

From 1.01 "Pilot", night in the woods, over the fog-covered forest floor.

Cristian: (voice over) "Previously on Worlds Colliding (The Vampire Diaries)"

From 8.03 "You Decided That I Was Worth Saving", in the boiler room, Stefan, Damon, Kaylin, Alex, Kacie, Caroline, Cristian, Luke, Nicola, Eliza, Liv and Tory were here with Sybil.

"Turn it off, pledge your loyalty to me," Sybil told them.

From 8.03 "You Decided That I Was Worth Saving", in the Armory's basement, Sybil was in a cell at the Armory, sitting on her bed, facing away from the window.

Stefan, Damon, Kaylin and Alex were standing outside the window.

"I'll have to help Cristian, Luke, Kacie and Caroline work on Liv, Tory and Eliza's humanity," Alex told them.

"I really hoped that when we put Sybil down, it'd break whatever control she had over Nikki," Damon told them.

From 8.04 "Life Ruled By Fear", in the basement cell, Liv was chained to her chair in front of Alex and Cristian, closer to humanity.

"Liv, you are the one person that has always reminded us through the sad and dark times that we need to continue living life and that you are the thing that has kept us sane," Alex told her.

Alex and Cristian pulled Liv into their arms, holding her tightly, while she returned their embrace just as tightly, holding onto them to hold onto her humanity and to hold herself together so she didn't fall apart.

From 8.03 "You Decided That I Was Worth Saving", in the road, Nicola rushed toward Tyler, biting him on the neck, feeding, feeling him go limp in her arms, lowering to her knees in front of the car, both of them bathed in the headlights as she continued to feed.

Stefan: (voice over from 8.03 You Decided That I Was Worth Saving) "Somehow, some way, she still has ahold of her. And if she goes back to being uncontrolled by the Siren..."

From 8.04 "Life Ruled By Fear", in the parking garage, Nicola pulled out her sword, spinning it, stabbing it into the ground, dragging the metal blade over the gasoline-covered concrete, setting up a bunch of sparks that turned into flame.

The fire set the vampire aflame, burning him alive, making him scream in agony.

Kaylin: (voice over from 8.03 You Decided That I Was Worth Saving) "She'll go back to being controlled by the Huntress."

From 8.04 "Life Ruled By Fear", in the Armory basement, Stefan, Damon and Kaylin were standing outside of Sybil's cell to talk to her.

"There are two of us," Sybil told them.

From 8.04 "Life Ruled By Fear", in Sybil's Mind Space in the cave, Stefan, Damon and Kaylin were horrified by the sight of Seline as Sybil's sister.

"You've met my sister," Sybil told them. "Seline."

"Seline is the other Siren?" Stefan asked.

"You're assuming that I'm gonna let you remember this when you wake up," Sybil told them.
