The next morning, Ren wakes up to a ray of sunlight hitting her face from the window. She yawns and rolls over.
"Oh my god!!" She quickly gasps and falls out of the bed.
Maiman looks over at Ren with a confused look.
"Maiman.... When did you get in the bed?!" Ren lightly laughs at the wolf who was laying right next to where Ren had been laying.
"Mhhh. Maiman... What's with all the noise?" Takeshi's voice comes from the other side of the bed. Maiman stands up and walks onto Takeshi's chest.
"Takeshi?! When in the world did you get in the bed?!" Ren nearly chokes on the words.
"Well.... It is my bed. My room, my bed. What were you doing in my bed? You could've slept on the couch. Arhiyan knows that." Takeshi sits up and looks over at her with an annoyed and tired look as Maiman crawls off his chest.
"When did you get back?" She stands up.
"Like, around eight this morning. It's like, ten now, right?" He looks over at her with a yawn. She glances at the clock then nods.
"Ugh. Ok. There's no school today by the way." He yawns again and curls back up under the covers.
"I'm going to go..." She makes her way out of the room as Maiman curls up next to Takeshi.
She heads downstairs and sees Arhiyan in the kitchen.
"I'm going to head home. My parents must be worried. Thank you for helping me." Ren smiles at Arhiyan.
"Ok sweetie. Be safe." Arhiyan smiles back.
"Hey. Um. Do you think you could keep an eye on my Takeshi? He doesn't make friends very easily. Mainly cause
people think he's different, and he doesn't really like socializing." Arhiyan's eyes meet Ren's.
"Yeah. Of course." Ren smiles at her then leaves the house.
