Sam's POV;

I got home after dropping Lela off and immediately went to my room. I changed and floped myself onto my bed. I stared at my ceiling and let my thoughts wander, but they didn't wander. They stayed put. On Lela.

This isn't like me. I've never been so caught up on someone before. I thought of her green eyes, that always looked sad unless she was smiling a real smile. Her long blond hair that was always on the left side of her head, unless she was playing her violin. Her perfect smile with her perfectly shaped pink lips. The way she wrinkles her nose when she she makes fun of me sometimes. The way her eyebrows slightly turn up when she is sad, or confused, or concerned, or sympathizing, or scared. And how her eyes grow wider when she is surprised or scared.

Damn. I could go on and on about her every detail. For hours I could talk about how she always had slight bags under her eyes, but that only makes her more beautiful. It how she crys over so many things, but only when shes alone. I only know that cause she broke down in front of me and told me. Her eyes go red when she crys, and she tries to stop herself but more comes to her mind and she just keeps crying.

She is amazing, even in her worst moments.

My eyes begin to feel heavy. I run to the bathroom quick before turning off my lights and laying down. With a sigh, I close my eyes and let sleep take over me.

Sam; I'm bringing you coffee

Lela; I'm brining you Cheetos then

Sam; You know me so well

Sam; See you soon❤

Lela; 💕

I tucked my phone into my hoodie pocket and grabbed two coffe filled foam cups.

"Bye mom!" I paused as I waited for an answer. All I got in return was a muffled reply. I have no idea what she said but I left anyways.

I wondered what I would say when she got into the car. Was she wearing perfume today? Would she say anything about last night. We almost kissed, twice. The second time by the look on her face she was scared. I didn't want her to feel like that. I wanted her to be happy, so I just hugged her last night. If she was scared I would do anything to make her comfortable in any situation.

Eventually I pulled up in Lela's driveway to see her sitting on the front steps. Her black bag was leaning against her leg and two bags of Cheetos were on her lap as she looked at her phone. Her hair was down and she was wearing a long flowing blue shirt with a pair of worn jeans and some vans. She looked amazing.

She stood and swung her bag onto her shoulder, stuffing her phone in her back pocket and grabbing the Cheetos. I leaned over the passengers seat and opened it for her. She was smiling as she sat down. She was wearing perfume, she smelled like an ocean breeze, but instead of a salty breeze it was more like cinnamon. That makes no sense but that's ok with me.

She had on no makeup, and she didn't need it. She flipped her hair to buckle and it smelled like strawberries.

"What?" She giggled at me as she set her bag down by her feet. I was staring at her.

"Nothing." I pulled out of the driveway and headed towards school.

"Cheetos, as I promised." She held up a bag of Cheetos and set them back down on her lap. I removed one hand from the wheel and grabbed the extra coffee cup, handing it to her.

"Coffee, like I promised." She laughed and took it. She took a sip and sighed.

"You know me too well." She leaned over a kissed my cheek. I smiled and felt myself blush slightly.
