Chapter Five - Decisions

A Jedi... this can't be true. I'm not an expert in the Jedi theme but for what I remember they can't have a family or get romantically involve with someone. They must think I'm someone else, he could never had been a Jedi. After long minutes of trying to find a logical explanation, I speak.

"Listen... I don't know who you think you're talking about, but clearly you got this all wrong. The Jedi you're looking for can't be Zazk."

"Your father..." the Senator begins.

"Zazk wasn't my father. That title was to big for him."

"Alexia, we're sorry that you feel that way about Zazk but we need you for this."

"You know nothing about me or how I feel. I got more important things to do than being here with you or looking for that man."

"Like finding your brother?" Cassian speaks after moments of standing in a corner thinking. I was surprise, how Cassian knew about that.

"I don't know what your talking about, I have no brother. I just got more important business than being here".

"I don't know you, but clearly you are lying." Cassian begin. "We being investigating you for a while. We have some files documenting your life and all declairs that your father is the Jedi Zazk Moryne." He continue while showing some data on the big screen in front of us. "We also know that your brother Lunas and you were very close, and a couple of months ago you get separated. You were looking for Lunas in that mercenary place that I found you. We know he is very important to you after what happened to the rest of your family. So we could help you find him if you help us with Zazk."

"I don't know how or from where you get all that information and honestly I don't care. I really hope I could help you but I can't. I don't want to get involve in anything that is about Zazk. If you excuse me I will like to go and find Lunas alone."

The one who hasn't said a word, Coronel Dontry, now speaks. "See, I told you this was a wasting of time. If you had hear me, we wouldn't be here with some foolish girl. I know her type, she would never help us, she would be so stubborn and naive and would do nothing." He was very upset, at the point that he was just inches from me looking like he was ready to fight me.

I get up confronting him. " You know what is your problem Coronel? You know nothing about me or about my life. You think you know me because of a file, you are so wrong, I'M MUCH MORE THAN THAT. And you are so stupid to notice." I was so furious, this man had taking out my patience.

"You insolent..." In that moment he raise his arm to punch with all the power he had. I was ready to face that hit, but it never came. Cassian stood in the middle of us, grabbing the hand of Dontry.

"That's enough" Cassian protest.

"Cassian get out of the way, she would have a piece of me to learn her lesson."

Dontry began approaching more to me and trying to get away from Cassian.

Despite Cassian look more thin and weak than Dontry, he had a lot of strength. Cassian took Dontry's arm pushing him back. He twist his arm to his back, turning him aroud and hit him to the table. Dontry was trying to get away but Cassian kept applying force.

"Dontry I said that's enough."

"Both of you, stop this." Came Senator Mon Mothma. "I'm ashamed of your behavior Coronel. Leave now and you would explain all this to me later."

The Coronel leave the room pretty upset.

"Alexia excuse me for all this, I will handle Coronel Dontry later. Captain Cassian you may continue."

"Alexia please just take a moment to think about this. I know is too much to take right now. But just let me show you the information that we got and explain to you the situation. We would not force you to do anything that you don't want to. The only thing that we want from you is to listen carefully and analyze and process all. If by the end you still don't want to participate in this, you can go."

Everything was so confusing to me. My life had change in just minutes. Zazk was apparently a Jedi, and I had to find him. I wasn't ready to see him again, after all this years I could not face him.

"I don't know what to think or do." My eyes were crystallizing by the tears that threatened to come out, as the memories of my past emerge from the deepest inside me.

"Ask me whatever you want or say nothing. Go rest for a while or stay here. You can do anything that you want to. What we are asking is difficult, for that reason we are taking things slow and whenever you are ready. Just relax and we will be here when you are prepare."

Even though I rest for two days after the beating Moro gave me I was exhausted. After all the events of today I only wanted to clear my head and sleep a little. Cassian took me to the medical room where I was staying.

"Take a good rest Alexia, let me know if you need anything." As he was passing the door I call him.

"Cassian..." He turns around. "There has to be a reason for me to do this. Something that convince me that I'm the only option that you have to find him. I want to have a real purpose to see him again and do not revive all the suffering from my past for nothing."

Cassian comes near the bed where I was sitting.

"Alexia, you really are the one to do this. We believe that if he finds out you are looking for him, he will come of his hideout. Zazk is really significant to this rebellion, he could be our only hope for better days. We need him to win this incoming war, and you are the only one that could help us talk to him. If we do nothing there would be more people getting kill and places destroyed, and Zazk could unify the Rebellion to stop that. And we also believe that... um... never mind we are not sure about that."

"About what Cassian. If you want me to trust you and trust all of this, you need to tell me everything."

He thinks for a moment before talking again.

"We were investigating something. We are not certain. We believe that Zazk is training people, creating like a rebellion of his own. He is teaching people to find the Force and become Jedi. This information has come from some of our sources, and they also tell us that Lunas is part of this group. Your brother could only be with Zazk."
