Heba pov.
"Get off me! " I shouted
"No! We've been looking g for you for months, now we've finally found you, your wanted for theft, we have orders from the Pharaoh to capture the thief who has been thieving for years, so, your coming with us. " the guards explained.
"How do you know it's me? " I asked in hopes of getting away with it.
"We have witnesses and all this stuff matched the descriptions given to us from the people you stole from" the guard said pointing to the various items in the house. That's it they've finally caught me, but that doesn't mean I won't escape. I'll find a way, one way or another. Me and Akefia will, once I find him that is.
Time skip.
I arrive at the palace ready to be thrown into the cellars . That's where all the criminals go. Let's just hope I find Akefia there.
I am forced to keep in front of the Pharaoh in the throne room.
"My king, this is the great thief, Heba Muto, he is the one who has been wanted for 12 years, he worked in partnership with the one called Akafia, the one we caught a year ago"
"Well done men, so your the chief? Hu? Well I hope you know that you'll be thrown in a cellar like your partner? " the king said, I expected him to be mean and shouting all the time but he seemed a fair and reasonable man. He looked like me, apart from the slight difference in our face and hair. Other than that we look like to be twins. I am smaller than he is but I believe we are the same age. "Yes I understand" I answer and I am then made to follow the guard downstairs to the cellars.
I am placed in the one next to Akefia's cell, I can't believe he's here, I almost thought he might be dead by now, I haven't seen him in so long. He hasn't changed much though, he's only got a bit taller. The guards release me from my shackles and shove me into the cell then locked the door and left us to do what they we're doing before they caught me. "Akefia" I say to get his attention and he turned to me.
"Heba? " I nod "Heba! Long time no see old pal" he says with a small amount of excitement and smiles.
"Yes my friend" I return the smile, the first time I'd smiled in a while, just before my parents died was the last time I smiled. "How have you been? " he asks
"Just grand, until now" I say with slight annoyance. "Don't worry, we will be out of here in no time" I say, making sure to keep my voice low and quiet just enough for Akefia to hear because I know if anyone hears they'll want in on the escape and I don't want that happening. "How have you been my friend? " I change the subject and return his question.
"Just fine Heba" he says "I can't believe you lasted 12 years, that's one year more than me, well done, you truly are the great thief, and you we're the last to be caught, well done to you indeed" he congratulates me
"Yeah, yeah, don't big me up too much will ya"
"It's true! " he says truthfully. I just shake my head playfully.
Atem pov.
I sit in my chamber thinking, That Heba Muto.... Why did I feel weird around him? Like a good weird? What is it I feel for him? He's different. The kind that makes me curious about him.... I wonder....
