Chapter 1

Ellianas first day of college ;)

I wake up to the smell of fresh pancakes, and my mom yelling at me that I needed to wake up or I will be late.

Today is my first day of college. I have been dreaming of this day ever since i was four years old. I am nervous, but i think I will be fine.

I decide to roll out of bed and make my bed. As I tuck in the corners of my bed, my phone buzzes, it's a text from Leslie.

Leslie: bitch you better be getting ready!!! Todays our first day of college! Still can't believe we are going to the same one. I'll be at your house in ten!!
Me: i just rolled out of bed... take your time on your way here bitch. See you soon :)

I smile as i set my phone down. Leslie has been my best friend for as long as i can remember. We met in kindergarten, and she hasn't left me side ever since.

I walk over to my bathroom and turn on the hot water to shower. I had showered the night before so my hair is washed, i'm just going to wash my body. I quickly shave the stubs of hair on my legs.

My shower was quick, i turn the hot water off and hop out. Today i wanna look presentable so i decide to go with my purple top and my high wasted jeans. Leslie thinks i look like a hippie when i wear these, but it's just my sense of style, and i think they are super cute.

I walk to the bathroom and look at myself in the mirror, my god my hair was a mess. I brush through my hair and I decide to curl it. I put on some foundation and concealer, and i set that with some setting powder. I use my naked pallet and i put some eye shadow on, i do a thin line of eye liner and some mascara. I fill in my eyebrows and put on some lip gloss.

For once I actually try with how i look, I usually throw on some sweats and a sweatshirt, not a care in the world. But since its my first day of college I decided to try.

I had already packed my suitcases from the night before, so i'm all ready to go. I grab my phone and my suitcases and head down the stairs.

My mom gives me a look of relief. "Oh look who's up, I thought i would have to go up there and blast some music! Did you sleep well hon?"

"Yeah i slept fine, great actually. I'm really nervous about college but I think i am ready." She hands me a plate of blueberry pancakes, my favorite.

She gives me a smile, "I'm sure you'll do great in college, i just don't know how i'm going to survive here all alone."

I look at her and smile, "you're not alone, you have dad. Where is he anyways?"

"He's upstairs, sleeping. It's his day off of work, and i'm pretty sure he forgot about you going to college today." She laughs and looks up the stairs.

"I'll go see what he is doing" i say as i walk away.

I decide to text Leslie, asking her where she is and letting her know i already ate.

I open the door to my mom and dads bedroom. My dad is sleeping in his bed. I walk over and sit on the bed.

"Dad?" I say shaking him slightly.

He jumps up, "Oh hey Ell, you scared me."

I smile " Sorry, dad. Mom said you were up here. I'm just about ready to leave, i was hoping you and mom could drive Leslie and I over to Caz, if that's not a problem?"

He smiles at me "No it's not, let me just get ready and i'll be down in five."

I get up and start to walk to the door "Okay."

I walk out of the bedroom, closing the door behind me. I walk down the stairs to find Leslie sitting at the counter talking to my mom, eating pancakes.

Leslie looks at me and smiles. "Hey girl" she looks at my outfit and gives me a look of disgust, "Ell those pants again? It's our first day of college, i think it's time to put those away and get some skinny jeans!!!" Her and my mom laugh, i laugh along with them and walk to the stool next to her and sit.

"So Mrs. Clark, are you driving us over to Caz? Cause if you are we better get going, it's an hour away and we still have to sign in and get out rooms. I think Ell and i are in the same dorm, i hope." Leslie says and looks back and fourth from me and my mom.

My mom looks at Leslie "Yes we will drive you, we are just waiting for Peter to get down here. You woke him Ell right?" My mom looks over to me.

I look up from my phone "Yeah he said he will be down in five."

"Okay good. Why don't you girls get your suitcases in the car while we wait?" My mom suggests.

Leslie and I say yes at the same time. I get up and grab my suitcase and Leslie grabs my other suitcase. We walk to the car and put both of our suitcases in the trunk of the car.

I look at Leslie as i put the suitcase in the car, "So are you ready for college?"

"As ready as i'll ever be" she gives me a warming smile.

My mom and dad are walking out towards us so we hop in the car.

During the hour ride, I listen to some music and i look out the window, i cath myself falling asleep, so i let myself take a nap.

Omg chapter 1 is finally done!!

Sorry if it was short or bad, i am new at this and i am using my phone so i have no clue if it's long.

But anyways i hope you enjoy this story, it will start getting better as soon as i write more chapters. But leave your comments or suggestions, i want to know what you think!
