Drei stared at the TV screen as the flashes of colors played out before him. "Uh, I don't get it," he said, turning to Soos, who was transfixed on the television, "What's so great about this..."anoma"?"

""Anime", dude!" Soos corrected, not taking his eyes off of the show. Drei glanced at him.

"Oook. So, what's so great about it?" he asked again. Soos' eyes seemed to bulge out of his head when the character on the show unsheathed some kind of lazer sword.

"Everything..."

Drei rolled his golden eyes. There was no point in trying to even talk to guy when he was watching this stuff. But, he had to admit that how the characters' lips didn't match what they were saying at all was hilarious. "Right." Drei said, standing up from the floor, "I'm just gonna, go see what Dipper and Mabes are up to...And by the way Soos, I don't think that you'll be able to build a lazer sword like that. But that's just me." Soos seemed to ignore him and continued to watch the show. Drei just shrugged and walked out of the living room and towards the gift shop doors.

"Mabel! That's not your color or pawn!" Dipper complained as Drei walked in. "And stop stealing the tiny horses!" Drei cocked an eyebrow, wondering if he should even ask what was happening.

"But they like it in here!" Mabel retorted, juggling the knights in her sweater. She then proceeded to pretend to talk to the pieces. Drei chuckled. Eins would have lost it by now if Zwei had done that...

"Oh! Hey Drei!" Mabel greeted, then glanced down at the knights in her lap. "The horsies say hi too! Neigh!"

"Uh, hello tiny horses?" Drei said, waving. "So, who's winning?"

Just then, Dipper moved his piece triumphantly. "Haha! I won!" he announced, and picked up a notepad that was by his feet. Drei leaned over to see his friend add another tally mark to the many that were on the page. "Woo hoo! Another amazing win by Dipper Pines!"

"That's a lot of tallies..." Drei commented. Dipper nodded and smiled, while Mabel just rolled her eyes.

"You may be good at chess, broseph," she said, "but you can never beat the Remarkable Mabel at a water balloon fight!"

"Ha! Wanna bet?" Dipper scoffed. Mabel glared at him.

"Do you? Because I can easily cream you!"

"You guys can cream each other later," Wendy said from behind the counter. The three kids turned to her. Honestly, they hadn't really noticed she was there until now, well, maybe except Dipper. Wendy straightened another knick-knack on the shelf from the ladder she was on. "'cause right now, I need Mabel to hand me that Brain in a Jar."

Dipper's eyes seemed to light up. "I-I can help you, Wendy." he suggested. Wendy looked down at them.

"Sorry, dude," she shrugged, "but Mabel's taller. She'd be more help." Dipper's eyes widened in surprise.

"What? No way! Mabel and I are the same height. We've always been." he protested. Wendy smirked, glad to have an excuse to stop working. She jumped down from the ladder and reached under the counter. She then pulled out a yard stick and approached the twins.

"Let's see then," she said holding it straight up.

Dipper and Mabel nodded and stood heel to heel, while Wendy compared their sizes.

"Yeah man, she's got like, a whole millimeter on you." she concluded and took the yard stick back where it belonged.  Dipper frowned, while Mabel grinned.
