- Sammi -
I yawned, waking up to the noise just downstairs.
What time is it?
Taking a peek on my phone, it read 2:23am.
We ended up going to bed just am hour ago, the YouTube history on my phone was filled with Five Seconds of Summer.
The whole night consisted of me watching all their music videos, covers and tour videos, and laughing at old fetus days.
Just a couple of words, from the back in 2012:
So. Much. Hair.
But anyways, I could hear a conversation coming from downstairs. Was it Michael? Yeah I think so.
I rolled out of bed and marching downstairs, I stood behind him like a creepy creeper.
I silenced, only me breath was hearable.
"I miss you too babe." He sighed. "But you know once we get back home I'll hug you and I'll never let you go." He muttered, me smiling.
Was that his sister, or? No, of course not! You wouldn't call your sister babe, would you?
"Ugh, I wanna kiss you so bad." He chuckled, my eyes widening.
That was surely not a friend, then...
"I could say it all day. I love you, I love you, I love you!"
He chuckled, me having no idea about what this girl and him were talking about. Wow, now I'm curious!
"No, I am not singing for you." Michael whined.
I couldn't heard the girl's voice, so I crawled even closer. Sitting behind the couch, I held back a laugh.
"Come on! Please, please, please! Please Mikeyyyy, before I go. I have so much work." That was all I heard, me mounting an 'aww.'
Man, I am such a lovesick pup.
"Fae Valentine I am not singing, I am exhausted and I sound horrible."
So, that was her name? Fae? Valentine?
My Fae Valentine? Or?
I gasped, holding a hand to mouth, hoping Michael didn't hear it.
Michael silenced.
"What's wrong, Mikey?" Fae asked, through the phone.
"Hello?" I hear him. "I heard something." He laughed.
"Oh, and how's Sammi?" I could already imagine her grinning, from the other side of the phone.
"She's doing great! She has an amazing voice, I really never expected her to be like she is. When you show me some of her videos I was not impress, but listening to her live it's amazing. Talking to my manager about her was your best idea yet." He said.
"I know!" She chuckled. "Ugh, I wish I could see her, you and meet the rest of your band." She sighed.
"I know babe, it's that the guys think it's "stupid" falling in love while we are in tour. They say it's a distraction. But when our manager set the whole fake dating thing, I thought they might accept us, but they kept their stupid band code. Maybe someday." He sighed.
"So, I'm a distraction?" She said sadly, my heart nearly breaking in two.
It felt like I was watching a sappy love film, yet I was feeling kind of strange.
Fae lied to me. We kind of have that same "band code." She says I can have crushes, but never fall in love, until my career is safe.
But she goes, behind my back and dates someone?
"No! Not to me, Fae, you know that." He whispered.
"Michael do you know how the hell those this feels. Damn, I love you. But I don't wanna be a secret. Your bandmates don't know about us, Sammi doesn't know about us. But then I feel like if we tell them, I'll stop you from achieving your dreams. I want you to be like... The best guitarist in the world." She was crying.
Nope, my heart! All this feels in one night.
"I'm sorry." Michael sighed.
There was a deadly long silence between them, me thinking about Fae.
Why didn't she tell me?
I like Michael, he's like my best friend.
Well not from now on.
"Bye Michael." I heard her say, flatly.
"No, no, wait Fae-"
He sighed, loudly. "Fuck."
I was about to get up and go to bed, when I heard Michael whisper something to himself.
"But I love you too..."
