CELINE'S POV
Rignt now, me and my mom is talking.
I was also shocked that she is here in our house because usually, she's with her amiga's after doing the tour with Dad.
"I'm still too young Mama and I don't think we are ready for that"... explaining things to my Mother is always a tough one
Don't get me wrong, my mother is a very intelligent woman but she always want things to go her way so explaining is always a hard one. When she wants something she will keep on nagging you about it and persuade you for it to happen.
It's annoying. I wonder how dad handles her.
"Celine, me and your dad is not getting any younger and besides, naiingit na ako sa mga amiga ko. They always tell good storied w/ their grandchild. I am not asking you to give me a lot, one would do"...
"Ma, I am still young and you are still---"...
"No-no-no, Celine, listen to me. I want a grandchild. Your dad wants one as well"...she said cutting me off while speaking
And to cut the conversation off, I inhaled every air in my house deeply then exhaled it and told my mom that I will think about it and will talk to Andrew.
When my mom heard me say that, she raised herself and says her goodbye saying "Her mission is done". then left a card.
I picked-up the card she put on the table and saw an OB GYNE Clinic. My mom is serious about a grandchild.
I am only 20 years old. I don't even have a driver's license yet and they want me to get pregnant. Isa pa, di ko nga alam kung kailan kami mananatiling kasal ng asawa ko. Malay ko ba kung hinihintay lang nun na mahiwalayan ako tapos apo na agad ang hinihingi sakin.
It's not that I'm complaining that I got married. Choice ko na sumunod kay Daddy besides responsible naman si Andrew. He's also understanding na bata pa ako.
"HMMM Maybe I can talk to Andrew"... i mumbled while drinking water when Andrew answered "What do you need my wife?"
Muntik ko na maibuga yung tubig na iniinum ko sa mukha niya kasi sumusulpot siya bigla at nagsasalita.
Tinignan ko siya mula ulo hangang paa then napatingin siya sa kamay ko. Bigla ko tinago yung binigay sakin ng nanay ko na calling card ng OB-Gyne
"Hmm, my secretive wife"... sabi ng asawa ko and tumawa. Problema nito? May pawife-wife pa siya. Nung nakaraan inakap ako tapos ngayon tinatawag ako na wife.
"Stop calling me that, it's uncomfortable"...sagot ko sa kanya na kinakunot ng noo niya tapos kinuha niya yung baso ko ng tubig at inubos niya.
"Hey Andrew, nauuhaw ka lang pala e di sana nagpakuha ka na lang sakin hindi yung iniinom mo yung tubig ko?"... bulyaw ko sa kanya tapos ang sabi lang niya "so what do you want to talk about?"
Tanong niya na kaswal habang nakatitig siya sakin. Bakit ang gwapo ng binigay na aswa sakin ng Daddy ko? Napaisip ako.
"Don't bite your lips Celine. It's tempting"...sabi ni Andrew habang pinagmamasdan ko siya di ko alam I am biting my lower lip na pala.
"So, what do you want to tell me?"....
I exhaled and told him everything my mom is telling me to do.
