Inaya ko si Ruben sa kitchen para maigawa na din siya ng merienda. Umupo siya sa upuan malapit sa counter abang pinapanuod ako gumawa ng orange juice. He likes orange juice, squeeze orange juice.
"Buti alam mo pa gawin yung juice ko"... he said after tasting the juice I gave him. Linogon ko lang sya kasi I'm making ham sandwich now. Sandwich spread to be precised. Naglapag na din ako ng cookies na binake ni Ate Mely kahapon sa harap niya.
After putting everything in front of us, I asked him what happened to him and why he didn't communicate.
"CK it's been like 4 or 5 years and I've been busy. Alam mo naman bakit ko kailangan umalis diba?"... he said to me
Umalis kasi siya dahil hindi niya makukuha yung insurance ng Papa niya pag di siya pumunta ng Australia which her mother really needed kasi may cancer.
"My mom died 2 years ago. I wanted to contact you pero I dont want to ruin your happiness"...kwento niya sakin which is anong happiness pinagsasabi niya?
Nakita niya siguro sa mukha ko ang pagtataka kaya tinignan niya kao ng malungkot or ako lang yung nagiisip nun?
"You got married"... he said and there, I saw sadness sparling in his eyes
