Chapter 6

  Jaden and Xavier get ready to duel as I sense a spirit.

  "You sense that?"

  "Yeah but where is it coming from?" I look over where Jaden is to see a spirit.

  "Service! I'm going to send a spell card your way, Service Ace."

  "A spellcard already?"

  This can't be good.

  "I pick a card and you guess if it's a monster, spell or trap, if you guess right your fine but guess wrong. Let's just say it'll be hard for you to hit this back." 

  "Easy." Jaden just stares at the card and starts humming and thinking as I face palm.

  "I can't believe this!" I whisper as I can tell Valkyrie is face palming as well.

  "I say it's a spell!"

  "You Sure? It's not to late to change your mind."

  "Then wait! I'll switch my guess and say it's a trap."

  And the usual trick in the book, confusing the opponent. They say that to see if they get it right or to make them guess wrong from the real answer.

  "Monster, looks like we found another thing your bad at. Anyway I'll put this card away and let out the big stroke! Service Ace!" a big blast went towards Jaden, making his life points go down to 2500, this isn't looking good.

  "Fifteen love, i'll place a face down and finish the set, Your serve."

  "Yeah, and I better make this count, here it goes!"

  "He sure is an opponent."

  "Yeah, and makes other boys feel intimidated."

  "Was that very necessary Water Wing?"

  "I was just saying!" I sigh and continue watching the duel.

  "I summon Elemental Hero Avian! Now Avian show Xavier who's the real king of the court with Quill Cascade!"

  "Don't think so bird brain! I activate Receive Ace, this trap card will negate your attack and deal 1500 damage points to you! Good luck feathering this one!"

  Great, now Jaden has 1000 life points, I hope he can hold on.

  "That's thirty love, but I do have to get rid of 4 cards because of the trap I played."

  "Then I guess i'll throw down a face down, and that's it."

  "Boy you sure are lazy, well that's fine for me that is. I play Smash Ace, this let's me draw the top of my deck and if it's a monster."

  "I get nailed, right?"

  "Hey, your starting to get the swing of this." Xavier draws a card and wear a proud smile, I can already tell what it is.

  "Oh look! It's a monster."

  "Lady luck! she hates me!"

  "Well she loves me and most girls do, but now get ready for Smash Ace!" A big energy ball appeared in the sky as it starts going towards Jaden, I hope he has something ready.

  "Sorry but I activate my face down card, it's a trap. Feather Wind, ever heard of it or should I say ever got the wind of it!" Avian deflects the attack and comes at our way as I jump when it hits the ground.

  "No way!"

  "Your ace just got blown out of bound."

  "Well you know what they say, you win some you lose some, but sometimes you gotta takes hit's to get them."
