sometimes I feel like leaping off a building but then I realize I have the greatest friend I could wish for and everything is okay again

phil's face scrunched up. he squinted at the boy in front of him.
"are you sure? do i need to lend you my glasses?"

dan erupted into laughter. "no, you idiot. i'm being serious"
"as in the no homo way?"

dan's eyes stared straight into phil's as his mouth edged up into a smirk. he opened his mouth as phil waited in suspense for those few milliseconds, sure that dan would simply nod his head and agree.

but he didn't. the words slipped out of his mouth before they knew it.

the words,

"yes homo"
