Chapter Four

I was shocked at the major change in my appearance. I looked completely different! My red hair was cut and curled to perfection just like always when Echo did my hair.

"Ready to show the guys?" She asked me.

I nodded before letting.my best friend lead me out of the small room and to where the guys were recording.

"Hey guys we got a surprise!" Echo nearly shouted walking in the room. "Time to meet the new Emma Ericson!" And at that I walked into the room looking down.

Why did all attention have to be on me?

"Emma?" I heard Jagger say from right in front of me.

I looked up to see him smiling "You look beautiful."

I blush a deep red.

"Damn that was sexy!" Jinx called out with a grin making me blush even more then I already was. I probably looked like a tomato with the red hair and the blush taking over my face.

Jagger's face twisted slightly before he turned his back on me saying to the band. "Okay, boys let's get back to the songs." But just as Jagger moved someone entered the room.

"Hey guys." The girl said as she walked in.

"Hey babe." Jagger called out as he walked towards the sound booth.

"What's wrong with him?" She asked one of the guys.

"He had an...interesting night." Echo said softly, I had told her everything that happened.

"Interesting how?" She asked.

"Cece just drop it for now, I'm sure he will tell you if he thinks you need to know about it." Echo answered.

Cece nodded before her green eyes landed on me. "Who are you?" He voice changed from being nice to Echo to being a bitch to me.

"That's Emma, my best friend." Echo said.

"Hi." Cece nearly spat.

She then moved over to the sound booth where Jagger went. The only thing I heard was a high pitched bitchy scream before she stalked out of the booth followed by Jagger who looked over at me.

"You wanna do a couple songs with us?" He asked, Cece glaring at me the whole time. "Cece stop it dammit!"

She ripped her glare from me and to him. "Fuck you Jagger."

"Bitch." He mumbled to himself as I walked over towards him.

"Sounds fun." I then pushed past him.

He followed me into the sound booth where he leaned against the wall looking over at us all. "Any song requests. Or should we just do one our the songs we're putting on our album and have Emma sing with us."

"Let Emma sing our cover song with you!" Jinx smirked over at me.

I ignored him, trying to flirt?

"Do you know the song Coming undone by My darkest days?" Jagger asked me.

I nodded.

"That's our cover song for this album." He said. "You wanna sing it with me?"

I smiled. "Sure." And at that everything began to play for us.

Jagger sang the song, I sang the back up and joined him in the chorus everytime. The song was fun to sing and I'm sure it sounded great. In fact we all thought it sounded good enough to go out and listen to the song over from the recording station.

Jagger and I sat side by side as the others surrounded us, Jagger messing with the controls to play the song back to us. Wow! We did sound amazing together!

Jagger and I shared a smiled before we heard the studio door slam shut before I heard Echo laughing her ass off yelling. "Jealous bitch!"

I cast a look over at my best friend with a questionable look. "Do I want to know?"

"Nope." She grinned at me popping out the 'P'.

Jagger sighed heavily before standing and chasing after her.

"Do they not have a good relationship?" I asked them all.

Gale laughed softly walking over to his girlfriend. "They hate each other."

"Then why is he with her?"

Johnny was the one to answer. "Her boyfriend got put in jail a couple months back after she broke up with him. They still love each other and Cece thinks its her fault he's there. Jagger's only with her because of the fact that its his best friend that she dated and he's making sure she doesn't kill herself."

My mind went into over drive. "What's her ex boyfriend's name?"

"Andy." Zacky answered.

"Why doesn't she just visit him?" I asked.

"She doesn't know where he's at." Gale answered.

I ran from the room to find Cece and Jagger. They were arguing over something when I came into view.

"Emma go back with the others." Jagger sighed.

I shook my head. "Cece I don't know why you hate me but if you still love Andy then you will listen to what I have to say."

"The guys tell you?" Jagger asked.

I nodded as the color drained from Cece's face.

"How do you know more then what I've already been told?" She asked.

"Because Andrew Ericson is my older brother." I told her.

"How is he?" She asked me with a worried expression.

"I'm fine." His husky voice filled the air making us turn around.

Cece was instantly in his arms crying. "What happened?!"

Andy shook his head. "Where's my sister?" He was looking over at Jagger now who pointed at me.

His eyes locking on my check before he moved away from Cece to take my chin in his hands. He turned my face, the wounded side, towards him. "What happened?"

I looked away. "Dad's been abusing me, why do you think he told the police you kidnapped me that night."

Andy growled softly looking up at Jagger. "You knew about this?"

"Not till this morning." He answered. "Had to sneak her past cops just to get here."

"What did you do to your hair?" Andy asked hugging ne tight.

"Echo dyed and cut it for me." I answered him. "It's an easy way to get Dad off my trail."

Andy nodded.

"Wait how'd you get out of jail?" I questioned.

"Early parole." He answered walking back over to Cece. "Hey Jagger can I kiss my girl or are you madly in love with her?"

"Go ahead." Jagger said. "I've had my eyes on someone else."

Andy looked at him. "Better not be my little sister." He then looked down at Cece to kiss her.

I sighed before going back to find the others.
