~18 years later: Juliet's P.O.V.~

I was never the popular kid or the girliest in school, I was more like the outcast. I wore black most of the time and I could probably put a sailor to shame with all the cussing I do. I was nothing like my mother, maybe my father but I believe he's hiding some things and my uncle said he could help.

I was currently with my uncle Andy, my only uncle might I add. He was going to a warehouse for some business and thought I might wanna join him seems how it might shine some light on my father's past.

"Keep close, kid." My uncle called out as I wondered up ahead of him but I just waved him off.

I turned to face him as I now walked backwards. "Uncle nothing's gunna happen to me." And at that I turned making it so that I had the barrel of a 45 at my head.

"One more move and I wont hesitate to shoot." The owner of the gun growled.

"Hey knock it off, Vincent!" My uncle snapped walking up to me. "This is my niece so you shoot her you have to deal with the rest of the gang and that includes your father and uncle."

The guy, Vincent, lowered the gun before snorting. "Like Andrés or my old man would do anything to me."

"Watch your mouth boy." A booming voice snapped. "Now I hear my gangsta is round here."

Andy grinned. "Hell ya, man and I brought a guest."

The man that now came into view looked at me with wide eyes. "Damn you look like your father."

"What's that supposed to mean?" I snapped at the old guy.

The guy grinned. "Yep definitely Jagger's kid."

Vincent looked at the old guy. "Wait Jagger as I Jagger Thompson?"

The guy nodded. "Yep, isn't that right Juliet?"

I pulled the gun from the back of my waistband before aiming it at the guy before me. "How do you know who I am and how do you know my father?"

Andy touched my shoulder. "That's the last time I stick it in the glove compartment with you in the car. Now if you would give me my gun back I can tell you why I brought you here." I growled softly giving the gun to Andy, Vincent laughing at my defeat.

"Shut up dipshit." I growled at him making him shut up. "Now why the hell am I here?"

"Juliet, your dad was part of a gang." Andy answered. "Your grandfather, me and mom's dad, was abusive so your dad dropped off the grid with you mom. His job wad this."

I stared at my uncle for a long moment before bursting into a fit of giggles. "Yeah, okay Andy now tell me the truth."

Everyone was looking at me, my laughter dying.

"Kid, you realize that the people who come by every now and then are to check on your dad and his family." Andy said.

I shook my head. "Then why is he in his band or is that just a cover up?"

"Your father dropped out of the gang after you were born." The old guy said but my guys is he was in his late forties maybe early fifties. "You were born under my protection, under the protection of this gang, La Sengre, The Blood."

"Is that your way of saying I'm in some form of fashion that I'm a gang child."

"Sí." He said. "Vincent and his twin brother were born the same way although their father still works will me."

Vincent snorted. "Andrés you know full well that dad is letting me take over his positions."

Andrés laughed. "Sure he is."

Vincent groaned. "Can I go? I'm taking this girl named Alexis Hunt out and damn she's hot."

"Hunt?" Andy asked looking over at Andrés. "Cece's daughter?"

He nodded.

"Who's that?" I asked.

"The bitch that tried killing you and.your mum."  Andy growled.

"So?" I asked.

"So nearly a real later thy bitch joined out enemy gang!"

"Vincent!" I new voice boomed. "¿Cómo te atreves a salir con una chica de nuestra pandilla enemiga! (How dare you date a girl from our enemy gang?)"

"Alejandro." Andrés said as the man walked up to our small group but Vincent fired back a response.

"No es como si yo sabía eso! (It's not like I knew that!)"

"Mentira que sabias muy bien que ella está en una pandilla. Ella se divierte los colores details pandillas, también. ¿Por qué no nos damos cuenta details esto! (Bullshit you knew full well that she is in a gang she sports the gang colors, too. Why didn't we notice this?)" Alejandro back at Vincent.

Vincent sighed heavily. "Entonces, ¿qué quienes que Haha, entonces? (So what do you want me to do then.)"

"Vocado details ella! Havering algorithm a mi hijo! Hay un montón details chicas aquí que puede ser placentero para la mente adolescente! (Dump her! Do something my son! There are plenty of girls here that can be pleasurable to the teenage mind!)"

Vincent pointed a finger at me. "Como ella? (Like her?)"

"Si mi hijo. (Yes my son.)" Alejandro answered.

"Port supuesto que no! (Hell no!)" Vincent shouted.

I smirked saying the one thigh that would shock him he most. "Puedo entender burro español. (I can understand Spanish jackass.)"

Everyone around us expect for Vincent, himself, was laughing at my words.

I just smirked at the man before me who tried glaring daggers at my head. "Bitch!"

"Thank you." I smiled even brighter before turning to face my uncle. "Can I join the gang?"

"Ask Andrés." He said but as soon as I turned to ask the guy nodded.

"You were born into it you just had to decide if you wanted to be apart of it all." He said. "Vincent, I'm partnering Juliet up with you. Show her the ropes and things. I expect you to be good while doing this."

Vincent nodded with a scowl.

Oh joy!
