Charlie wouldn't open her eyes, she didn't want to know where she was, she just wanted to remember her last dance with Evan. She opened her eyes and saw Sam facing her, trying to look at the villains. She looked at the other side of the cage to see her father with blood on his shirt.
"Father?" His eyelids fluttered but didn't open. "Father, please wake up," She crawled over to her father and took his hand. "Father, I think some of my siblings are dead." He opened his eyes and squeezed her hand.
"Which ones, Charlie?" She couldn't say their names. "Charlene, who do you think is dead?" She swallowed hard and looked him in his eyes.
"Calvin and Philas." Evanna opened her eyes and saw her mother smiling at her. She tried to move but she was tied down. Her mother touched her cheek.
"Hello, how's your baby doing?" Evanna didn't answer and Evil Queen smiled wider. "We'll find out soon enough," She held up a green potion that made Evanna jerk around. "Gaston, retrain her please," Gaston's huge hands shoved her down and Evil Queen opened Evanna's mouth before pouring the potion into her throat and shutting it before she could spit it out. "They'll be coming in a week." She walked away and Gaston followed her as Evanna screamed at the feeling of something growing too quickly. Evan clutched his stomach as Snow White waited for him, Mitch or Jal to speak. Mitch cleared his throat.
"Ms White, we know where the villains have your daughters," She leaned back in her chair. "We would like to go find them with help from our friends except Bri," Mitch leaned forward. "They still have...their father, we just need permission-Evan, are you alright?" Evan shook his head as he slid off his chair.
"I think my mother's speeding up the process," Jal's face went white as Evan looked at Snow White. "She'll do the same to Charlie and Sam which means we don't have much time...Please let us save three people I care about, two of them I love, one I hope will one day be my sister in law." Snow White shook her head.
"I can't," The pain disappeared and Evan stood up. "I resigned as headmistress, you have to talk to Belle who wants to be called Belle by everyone," She smiled sadly. "But if I could I would without thinking twice." They left Snow White as she started to back up her things. Jal sighed as they walked to the library which was their temporary base.
"We're going to leave to get them, right?" Mitch and Evan nodded without hesitation. "Then I need to make sure Bri doesn't come," Mitch frowned at him. "I need to break her heart unless she agrees not to go." Evan prayed that Bri wouldn't get her heart broken as they walked into the library. Bri wiped her eyes, hiding her tears as she read a prophecy. Mitch sat beside her.
"What are you reading?" She pushed it over to him. "'When the blood of Good and Evil are mixed, depending on who surrounds them, they will be Good or Evil'," Mitch closed his eyes. "So if my kid is born surrounded by villains, they'll be evil?" Bri didn't answer but the question didn't need one. Evan suddenly picked up a chair and threw it across the library. "EVAN!" Evan stood panting before collapsing, tears running down his face.
"I should've protected her," He brought his knees up to his chest. "I've loved her since the day I met her but I didn't protect her," He rocked back and forth. "I don't deserve her, not one little bit." Bri walked over to him and slapped him across the face.
"If you want to deserve her, stop crying, stop throwing shit and help come up with a good plan for this," Evan touched his cheek. "So, while you guys leave to save them, I'll distract my mother and help from this end." Jal nodded slowly.
"So, how will you distract her?" Bri smiled and put her hand on her stomach. "But what if she decides to have a talk about how not to get pregnant to the entire school?" Bri looked down.
