Without You (tutorial)

I've had people ask me how I make graphics on picsart/mobile, so I figured to post a tutorial on a cover.

Step One: Get the base like this

To do this, you just have to put three (or more) images together and erase off the edges with a soft brush. The coloring of this is achieved with going to f(x) effects > retro and then raising the saturation.

(I might have applied more filters but I don't remember if I did. And even with just retro, the colorings are still pretty similar).

Step Two: Text

For the author + watermark text, the font Helvetica is used and for the title, the Rising Brush font is used. (You have to save the base image + download these fonts to the app phonto + open the image/add text there).

Step Three: A bunch of textures are applied. Open draw mode + make a new photo layer with this texture (rotate the image to make it portrait mode instead of landscape):

Put the settings of this new photo layer to lighten at 100% opacity

Open this texture as a photo layer:

Rotate the image to make it portrait.

Put the blend mode to add at 25% opacity.

I realize that photo layers are only on android so apple users, just do this step in the regular "add photo" mode. (Photo layer just makes things more neat).

Step Four: add this lighting flare (it's one of picsart's)

Apply it to the text at lighten mode 100% opacity. You might have to change the hue of it so it matches the colors of the cover.

It should be like the image above.

Step Five: More filters!

Go to tools > adjust and you can just mess around with the brightness/contrast/ saturation/hue.

I set the stuff to
Saturation: 45
Shadow: 100
Highlight: -25
Temperature: -25

I also changed the hue but that's completely optional

And you're done!
