Not gonna lie, I like how this turned out, especially since I had to manipulate a lot of stuff to get it to a way I like.
The background was originally this:

The castle in the distance is way too flat/boring/smaller than I wanted it to be so I changed it to a completely different one:

I kept the rest of the background from the original stock.
But the castle above wasn't extravagant enough. So I copied and pasted different aspects of it to make the castle look larger. I also fiddled with parts from other castle stocks to get it to look like the castle in the result cover.

I used the fonts Valeria (title) and bebas (author). I also had to experiment with the colors a lot to get it to something desirable.
So yeah the result turned out to be:
