As I made my towards Le'anne, I felt the anger in my body slowly grow. My vision had centered on her body as she made her way towards my brother. Blurs of wolfs and vampires flashing in the corner of my eyes, daring me to take my sight off of my victim, but not risking it. As I let my head hang low, my teeth bared as low growls flowed from my throat, I saw her take a small crouch before leaping off the ground and flyign towards my brother. I felt my feet pick up speed before my body lunged forward and grabbed her by the nape of her neck, sending her in the opposite direction of Logan.
"This is all your fault, Le'anne." I thought as she staggered up from the snow covered ground, her eyes a fiery gold as her body prepared itself for what was to come.
"You forced a war on your own family just out of spite and jealousy. But now that I think of it, I should have known you would have came to this conclusion, you never did like not getting your way." I said as venom coursed through my thoughts, one of my paws moving forward as I hunched down, my eyes still never leaving her small wolf frame. I saw her jaws snap in my direction, as she lunged towards me. I let out a huff of air as I easily dodged out of her line of sight and behind her, allowing my teeth to sink into her fur, earning a yelp from her throat. I stepped back as I watched her wounded leg trying to keep its composure, but failing.
"You turned against us, Amber. You went against our kind, and now look at you. A freak of nature. The first ever hybrid. You must think that you're so powerful because you have not only Harry on your side, but vampire blood coursing through your veins, but your wrong. I know your weakness, and I know how to take you down." She said in a hushed thought, her words striking my attention as my eyes quickly averted to Harry who was easily taking out the enemy that has surrounded him.
I allowed my eyes to fall off of his frame and saunter back to Le'anne, her eyes in a small glare as she held her wounded paw off the ground. I saw movement behind her, causing my eyes to dart behind her and seeing Zayn quietly walking up to her, his teeth on full display as he silently crouched down. I let out a quiet chuckle, before looking back at her.
"This is over now Le'anne. Face it. We may have been outnumbered before, but look at your numbers now." I said, seeing her eyes trace over all of the wounded and fallen wolfs, worry taking over her features, before she looked back at me. Courage taking place of the once placed emotion, her eyes lighting up as she lunged towards me.
I saw Zayn follow behind her, grabbing her and throwing her to the ground as I leaped towards them.
I was so close to ending this, so close to being able to live in peace without having to worry about Harry getting hurt or our lives in danger. As I felt my feet touch the cold snow, I was knocked off of my feet by a sudden and almost unbearable pain that coursed through my body. I slowly felt my body Changing back to it's human form, glancing towards Harry who was now kneeling in the snow, who was staring at me, tears staining his face as he glanced down at his chest, I followed his eyes as mine caught sight of a red liquid seeping out from a rip in his black shirt, the once beautiful white snow covered ground, was slowly being stained with red around his body. His eyes found mine as his mouth opened slightly as he tried to force words out, but the only thing that came out was a quiet gasp, only loud enough for a vampires hearing to her. I painfully stood up, seeing his face contort in pain at my movements. My mind almost forgetting he felt everything I felt. I fell back down in the snow, seeing his face somewhat relax, as his eyes slowly dulled from the frightening red to a light green.
"Harry.." I said in a pained whisper, tears falling from my eyes and down my cheeks. I saw him shake his head, before his body crumbled onto the ground. I sat their silently as I watched, waiting for him to move. He had to move..
"C'mon Harry.. get up!" I said in a loud cry, feeling my heart start to hurt as realization had hit me but not allowing my mind to believe it. He couldn't be dead, my Harry couldn't be dead. I stood up and ran to his now still body before falling beside him and grabbing one of his hands in mine and placing my free hand on his cheek, flinching at how cold it felt, colder that what it used to be. I placed his head in my lap as I cried quietly. My hand that once rested on his face found it's way to his curls, my fingers combing through it, the only emotion going through my body was heartbreak.
"Now, it's over little cousin." I heard Le'anne say from in front of me. I forced myself to look up from Harry's almost peaceful features to stare at my cousin, my breath becoming uneven as I took in her words, more tears falling faster and more frequently as I cried harder.
I shook my head and leaned down to place my for-head against Harry's, letting the tears fall onto his face as I tried to force the thought of him actually being dead out of my mind.
"Please, Harry.. Don't leave me... you promised you would never hurt me, don't you dare do this to me. Not now. Wake up!" I said as I felt someone began to pull me from my spot on the ground, but I used all of my remaining strength to get out of their grip. I refused to leave him.
I glanced back towards Le'anne as I saw the rest of the group gather to the side of her, sympathetic looks taking place on their faces, seeing Louis cheeks stained with blood as tears fell from his eyes. Briana trying to hold in her tears, Liam holding Elizabeth in a tight hug as she cried into his shoulder, Niall holding onto Emilys hand as his free hand covered his mouth, muffling his cries. Samantha was rubbing Louis's back in a comforting gesture. I bit my lip as I looked back down at Harry, one of my hands tracing his features, taking in how beautiful he looked, remembering how beautiful he always looked. Such a short time of knowing this beautiful creature, the ups and down we had had in that short time. I wasn't going to let this go by without avenging him.
I slowly stood up in front of Le'anne, wiping my eyes with my free hand, feeling a hand grab my other. I glanced over, seeing Logan looking at me, pain shooting through his eyes, as he pulled me into a hug, kissing the top of my head as I looked away and towards Le'anne once again. My muscles tensed as I felt heat take over and my vision fade to black momentarily. Once I finished Changing, I looked up from the ground and into Le'annes terrified eyes before lunging at her. I saw Zayn come running from the corner of my eyes as he stepped in, ending her once and for all.
I once again changed back to my human form, rushing back to Harry's side as I placed his head back in my lap, tears finding their way to my eyes again, I bent down and placed a soft kiss to his skin.
"There's still a chance he could come back.." I heard Samantha say as a hand made it's way onto my back, my muscles tensing at the feeling.
"Let's give her some time.." I heard Liam say from above me, before sensing the group of people around me disperse.
I let out a loud cry, as memories of Harry flashed through my head, the love we made, the happiness that flashed through his eyes whenever his eyes found mine. The way his smile would light up my world on my darkest days. The way his lips felt on mine, how he was the perfect height for my head to fit perfectly in the crook of his neck, his lazy kisses at night before we went to bed... Everything about him made everything so much easier..
"I love you Harry... please come back..."
