Chapter 2

I woke up. And I prepared myself to school. I went downstairs to the dining table. And I saw mom. Mom asked me if school is okay. Yeah, school is okay. But I don't want to tell Mom about what happened yesterday. I dont want to worry her. 

Mom, I have to tell you something.. *I said having second thoughts

What is it honey?? *Mom said

Uhmmm, Mom what if someone not close to you, saves you.?? *I asked

Well, Maybe he\she must have concern for everybody.. *Mom said still busy doing her paper work

Maybe he does. *I said trying to believe what mom said

Why? *Mom asked looking me in the eyes

Uhmm, Nothing mom! I just wondered.. *I said smiling

So I finished eating my breakfast and kissed mom goodbye.. I was walking alone in the sidewalks when someone called my name. I looked back to find who it was. I was shocked on what I saw! It was him! The guy which Laney said to be the one who saved me, Jason!! I turned back to my position and walked very fast.. I wont let him catch me!! BTW, why am I running away from him? And I heard him shouting my name so I turned back.

Whoah! Your fast huh! *He said panting

Oh! You know I don't want to be late for school. Hehehe! *I said while forcing myself to laugh

It's 30 minutes before the time. You'll not gonna be late. *He said 

I-i wanna be early though. *I said awkwardly

Can I come with you?? *He asked

Sure! Hahaha! *I said, not so sure

So, how are you? *He said

I'm fine. Why would you ask? *I said curiously

You fell yesterday, right? *He said

How did you know? We never told anyone.. *I said

He didn't uttered a word...

Uhmm, You're the one who saved me right? *I asked but I wasn't that sure

Oh, so were here! Just in time! *He shouted like he doesn't heard what I said

So we went inside the room and seated on our seats. I felt so dumb to ask that question. It makes me feel this awkward. Maybe he wasn't the one who saved me.. Maybe he just saw me unconscious that he asked me if I'm fine.. 

I waited for our professor to come.  I wish he was here earlier to stop the awkwardness between us just for an hour. But it's 8:30 in the morning and Professor didn't come. So all I did was continue reading the Mythology book. Until the bell rings. We hurriedly grabbed our things and went outside to have our lunch. Im with Laney Btw. She talked about anything but I wasn't listening. I kept thinking of what happened ago. Why didn't he answer me? I stopped having thoughts when Laney shouted at me.

Joan, Im here talking and you're not even listening!? *She said annoyed

Im sorry Laney. Im just thinking about something. *I said dismayed 

What are you thinking? *She asked curiously

Uhmm, nothing! let's just have our lunch instead. *I said pulling her to the Cafeteria

We are having our line to be served. The line is too long that 3 girls went infront of me and steal my turn. I pushed the other girl. Of course I have to fight for my dignity.

Hey, You have to make your line at the back! *I shouted

You don't know whom your talking to. *The Girl 1 shouted
