peyton's pov:

i knock on the door, my hands shaking. "i'll get it!" yells someone- who i'm thinking is ashton. he opens the door. he gasps and wraps his arms around me. i slightly laugh and hug back. "i've missed you." i say. he nods back, not breaking the hug.

"ashton, who's at the do-" brandon comes into view. he looks surprised. "long time no see." he says. ashton lets go of me and stares at me and brandon.

brandon pulls me into a hug. "i feel like we need to talk, catch up on some stuff. ashton go away." brandon says. ashton scoffs. "i want to stay and watch this train wreck be fixed." i chuckle a bit. "ashton please" brandon whispers and smacks ashton's butt. "okay fine"

i followed brandon up his stairs and into his room. "it's been awhile." i say amazed that i'm back in this room. "it has."

"why can't you live with maci?" was the first thing he said. i was shocked from some reason. "um well-" i was cut off. "i didn't mean it in a like rude way. just, what happened between you two? i thought you were best friends till the end." i half smile but it quickly fades away. "it's fine, she made up rumors about me, which caused me a lot of hate. i just left." now brandon looks shocked. "that little bi-" "brandon don't worry about it, it's over." i say.

"i'm sorry we lost touch. i should've called or texted you. i missed you. at least we are still friends." he says and sends me a reassuring smile. i send one back. "yup, just 'friends'," i say. "don't worry at least i can see you now."
