peyton's pov//
we walked around the fair. i looked up at the giant ferris wheel, bright lights of red, yellow, and blue blinking at me. i hear the kids running around laughing. the smell of funnel cakes and popcorn filled the air. i looked at brandon. he smiled. "everything okay?"
i hugged him. "i missed you, but i'm fine." i said and pulled away from him. i smiled back at him.
we rode some rides and played some games. "let's ride the ferris wheel" brandon said. i looked at him in terror. "i hate those things, but i'm willing to ride it if you buy me a funnel cake."
"deal"
we got in line. lots of people surrounded us. i was scared i will admit but i'll be fine. couples and friends constantly pushed into me. we were next in line besides a little kid, maybe about 5 or 6.
"sorry no single riders" the man said to him and the kid was obviously disappointed. "he can ride with us." i blurred out. "yeah, that's fine" brandon said smiling. the kids face glowed up.
we got in our cart and sat down, the kid in the middle. i hate the edge but all well. we were halfway up when i asked the kid for his name. "it's caleb." he said.
as we got to the top, he leaned onto the edge of the seat. "hey mom look at me, i'm at the top!!" he was yelling while looking down. the cart leaned forward, squeaking. i was scared to death. the thing kept leaning forward but i leaned back, fearing falling.
but soon the ride was over. thank god. i got off as soon as i could leaving caleb to be the last one to get off. i pushed past everyone and puked in a trash can. i'm not afraid of heights but i hate kids now. "o my god peyton are you okay?!?" brandon said. "just peachy i said wiping my mouth. he laughed. "do you still want a funnel cake?"
"a water and maybe some cotton candy instead please." i said and looked up at him.
