This was Maine's issue that kept her up all night. She didn't want to ask Alden's friends because they won't understand why it was her who had to do so and would tease him to no end.
She couldn't ask her friends because Alden would probably throw a fit if she even considered asking Miggy.

"Ang haba naman nito." She muttered. The article, of course, talked about how a guy would court a girl - not the other way around. She planned to search other websites but none seemed to be a good fit for Alden Richards - or rather, Richard Faulkerson, Jr.

She's been standing by the gate of his Nuvali home for about half an hour already. After pacing a little more, she turned around planning to leave and abort her mission when "Ganun nalang? Hindi ka na papasok?"
Maine turns to see Lola Linda, who opened the gate then enveloped her in her arms. "Lola! Namiss na kita."
"Namiss? Pero hindi bumibisita dito at kanina lang ay aalis na agad?" Lola Linda lead her to the dining table where they could have snacks. "Ang payat mo pa din. Hindi pwedeng ganyan kapayat kapag magbubuntis ha?"
"Lola, hindi ako buntis!"
"Alam ko. Sabi nga ni Rj."
"Eh bakit -"
"Aba, sayo ko gustong magka-apo kay Rj. Masama bang umasa?" Lola paused before continuing. "Kamusta ka naman, Menggay? Bakit hindi ka bumisita dito?"
"Nahiya po kasi ako. After natin mag-usap, hindi ko pa din inayos yung sa amin ni Rj."
Lola shrugged. "Ang gulo niyong dalawa. Ang lungkot na ni Rj."
"Lola, sorry naman. Pero may mga kailangan lang akong pag-isipan kaya ganun."
"Napag-isipan mo na ba?"
"Opo."
"Tapos?"
Maine took a deep breath. "Sabi ko po kasi kay Rj, ako ang manliligaw pag ready na ako. Kaya po nandito ako. Magpapaalam sana na manliligaw po ako sa apo niyo."
The elderly lady gave a hearty laugh. "Pagkaka-cute niyo talaga kung hindi masarap pag-untugin. Liligawan mo si Rj? Kailangan mo pa ba gawin yan? Baka pag sinabi mo yan, isasagot sayo na magtanan na kayo."
"Talaga po ba? Baka kasi nagbago na..."
Lola Linda looked at Maine. "Ganito, tutal manliligaw ka. Anong balak mo kay Rj?"
Maine was quiet.
"Mahal mo ba? Baka mamaya parang yung mga kabataan ngayon na pa-date-date, konting kiss at kung anu-ano pa, tapos maghihiwalay. Mahal kita, Menggay, pero si Rj, kapag nanligaw, hanggang dulo na ang iniisip niyan. Kasal. Ikaw ba?"
