His family didn't allow her to drive herself home that night for safety reasons, so both his grandmother and father placed a call to her parents that she would be staying at their guest room.

Luckily, her bag for their trip was already in her car.

It was almost midnight when they decided to turn in. His father reminding him, "Rj, ihahatid mo lang sa kwarto si Menggay ha. Hanggang pinto ka lang."

When they got there, he whispered, "Pa-kiss naman!"

"Rj, wag kang makulit. Baka san mapunta yung kiss na yan."

"Isa lang. Ano ba naman 'tong nagkabalikan tayo tapos hindi sealed with a kiss?" He coaxed, rubbing his nose on hers. "Please? Mabilis lang."

"Okay, okay. Quick lang ha?"

He smiled at her at slowly claimed her lips - nibbling and sucking gently, then finally letting go. "See? Good boy ako."

They parted ways for the night so they could get some rest for their trip.

They barely dropped their bags in the room when he was already on her - kissing her like his life depended on it. Maine for her part, gave him as good as she got.

"Rj, wait." Maine said when she was able to get a word out, trying to push him off her in bed. How did we get here?

"Hmm?" He wasted not time coaxing her tongue to duel with his again, while his hands roamed her sides and pulling her legs to go around his waist. He moved and she ended up straddling him.

"Wait, Baby. Don't you want to go swimming?"

"Later or bukas nalang." He replied in between kissing her jaw and her neck and nibbling her ears. "Hmmm... You smell so nice."

"Wait kasi... hmmm... We have to, huh umm, leave around 7pm, baka no more time to swim...oooh..."

He shook his head. "No, we have all day today and tomorrow."

"What?" She pushed him away. "What do you mean?"

Alden smiled sheepishly. "I moved my flight. You have me for two whole days. Pumayag naman yung parents mo."

"Rj!

And that's what I told your parents."

"Na gagawa tayo ng baby?!"

"Na papakasalan na kita!"

"Good."

"Magpapasarap muna tayo bago mag-baby."

"Tagaaaaallllll..."

He made quick work of their clothes.

"Hi, Junjun! I missed you." She teased.

"Mamaya kayo mag-reunion. May utang ka pa sa akin."

Days later, when Alden was flying out, he posted a personal tweet, for the first time in all the months they have been apart.

aldenrichards02: so mainedcm, how about we give it everything we've got this time?

And she replies:

mainedcm: I'm all in.

About a year later...

"I can do whatever I want.

Can you please support my decision?"

"I do! Ang akin lang wag na yung stunts sana because you haven't trained for it."

Their argument went on until they both decided to take separate walks on the beach. Maine going on direction, Alden taking the opposite.

An elderly woman, selling bracelets watched the couple, she muttered, "Ano sa palagay niyo?

The wind blew.

Another gust of wind.

The elderly lady watched again as the man turns back and is running to the lady, who has now stopped walking and was waiting with open arms for him. They were kissing and smiling again and quickly disappeared to their honeymoon suite.

The elderly lady shook her head and looked at the sky. Yes, this couple didn't need to switch... For now.
