His Birthday

Louis: You sat next to Louis at his house in Doncaster on Christmas Eve. You didn’t need to throw a party for him or anything, that was the perk of having your birthday on Christmas Eve. You still had to buy him a lot of presents though, even though he has a lot of things already. You two were at his old house with his family as they talked and drank until midnight to bring in Christmas Day. You were talking to Louis’s sisters for a while before Louis tugged at your wrist. You looked back at him and he smiled cheekily as Félicité got up to go to the bathroom really quick. “What is it?” You asked Louis as he sat up once he got your attention. “I just wanted to spend some time with you alone.” “I think we had enough alone time from the car ride here.” Louis rolled his eyes and pulled you closer to him. “C’mon, Lou, your sisters are around and so are your family. I’m not gonna have a make out session with you on the couch because you’re bored.” Louis scoffed as you pulled back from him and you laughed. You decided to tease him a bit and leaned in to kiss him, grabbing his hand and placing it on your thigh. He went with it for a second before you pulled back and got off of the couch. “Johannah, is it time for Louis’s cake?” You called out to Louis’s mom who stood in the kitchen talking to Louis’s grandparents. She looked up at you and nodded her head, putting her drink down on the counter. “I’ll get the cake out while you gather everyone around the table.” You nodded at her and introduced yourself to his grandparents before you could leave. “Lottie, can you help me get everyone to come to the living room for cake?” You found another one of Louis’s sisters as she sat down playing with a little cousin. She nodded and bolted up from her seat, going into multiple rooms in the house to get everyone out. You pulled at Louis’s hand as he sat firmly on the couch. “Birthday time for the King,” you smiled at him as he finally got off of the couch. “Go and sit at the table so everyone can see your lovely face.” You shoved Louis along to the table where his mom was setting up the cake and plates for everyone. He sat down at a chair as his mom tussled with his hair. “Mum—” She laughed as everyone came into the dining room and stood around the table. Johannah bent over and put the candles ablaze with some fire from a lighter. She started to count down with her fingers as Phoebe and Daisy came running into the room. Everyone sang Happy Birthday together as Louis sat behind the cake. Once the song ended he blew out the candles and licked some of the frosting. “Come ‘ere, (Y/N).” You sat next to him as his mom cut into the cake. “Boop—” he placed some frosting on your nose. You took a swipe from the cake and placed it on his cheeks. “Happy Birthday Louis. And Merry Christmas.”

Zayn: "Liam just texted me, everyone hide and be quiet!" You shoved your phone in your pocket as you dove in front of the couch that faced away from the door. You and the other boys decided to throw a Surprise Party at the flat you shared with Zayn for his birthday. Someone shut off the lights from nearby and crouched next to you behind the couch. "Shhh," Harry smiled at you as he put a finger to his lips. You shoved him in the arm as you heard the floorboards creak as everyone hid behind something. Everyone became really silent for a while right before you heard keys jingle and heard them being inserted into the front door. You clutched onto Harry’s sleeve as the door open and the lights flickered on. You jumped up from your hiding spot behind the couch and threw your hands up in the air, almost punching Harry in the face. "Surprise!" You shouted at your boyfriend as he stood completely shocked by the door with Liam smiling next to him. Everyone squealed as the shot up from their hiding place and shouted Happy Birthdays at him. You ran to Zayn as Harry rubbed his arm where you had been gripping onto him. "Happy Birthday!" You hugged your boyfriend of eleven months and kissed him. "Thanks for keeping him occupied the whole day, Liam. It was hard getting the decorations up and getting the food ready. A lot of people came in separate cars so it was hard for us to hide the ones that Zayn would recognize," you let go of Zayn and smiled at him before hugging Liam. "No problem, we just went out to catch a movie and have some lunch. He was begging to go back home the whole day, it was annoying." "I just wanted to get some sleep!" Zayn laughed as he went to go greet his sisters and mom as they stood eagerly behind you. You closed the door behind Liam as family, friends, and crew mates went to greet the birthday boy. Eventually everyone ate dinner at the table and on the couches because there weren’t enough seats for everyone. They gathered around the table afterwards so everyone could sing Happy Birthday to Zayn as he sat in front of a cake that was decorated with blue icing. Many cameras flashed as people took pictures of Zayn blowing out his candles and making a wish. "What’d you wish for?" You asked Zayn as you handed a plate with a slice of cake to his sister. He looked up at you and smiled. "Another year of happiness with everyone. Especially you."
