Once upon a time.
"Mommy, I wanna marry her," little Lauren pulled her mother's dress and pointed at the little girl sitting on a swing.
Clara, Lauren's mother, leaned down and reached her for daughter's cheek, giggling lightly.
"You are a girl, baby. You can't marry her," Clara said stroking her daughter's cheek.
Little Lauren's eyes started to water. She looked at the girl who is sitting on a swing. Alone.
The girl has a cute little bow on her head.
"Baby, don't cry," Clara said softly. "What made you think you wanna marry her?"
"She's cute with that bow," little Lauren answered sniffing.
"Do you want me to buy you a bow?" Clara asked.
"No. I want her. Can you buy her?"
Clara giggled. "No. I can't, baby. Do you wanna talk to her?"
Little Lauren stopped crying and looked at her mother with her cute round green eyes. "I can talk to her?"
"Of course," Clara said smiling.
Little Lauren approached the 'bow' girl.
"Hello," Little Lauren greeted shyly.
But 'bow' girl didn't respond.
"Hello, bow girl. I am Ren," Lauren said while playing with her tiny fingers.
The girl looked up and meet Lauren's green eyes.
"Why are you talking to me?" the girl asked almost in a whisper.
"Why not?" Lauren said.
No answer.
"What's your name?"
"Don't talk to me."
"Your bow is cute," Lauren said.
The 'bow' girl unconsciously lifts her hand and touched the bow on her head. "Thank you," she said shyly.
"KARLA! GET IN THE CAR!" someone yelled with a high pitched voice.
The 'bow' girl jumped from the swing. Her brown eyes were round. And she was biting her lip.
"Why?" Little Lauren asked curiously.
The 'bow' girl shook her head. "Bye," she said and started to run.
She is leaving. I don't want her to leave yet.
Little Lauren grabbed her hand. "Wait. My name is Ren. What's your name?"
"Karla," bow girl said quickly. She reached the bow on her head and removed it. She handed it to Lauren. "Bye, Ren."
Then she ran off.
Lauren was left there. Holding a little blue bow in her tiny hand.
