"Oh my," Ino shook her head, unsure of what steps she should take to cure this train wreck of a head. "It doesn't look that bad until you get up close..." Claire looked up at Ino, seeing her once again shake her head. "Let me see your nails," She ordered, grabbing for Claire's hands before she could even move. "Your nails are filthy, too..." Ino sighed, falling down on the seat behind her.

"Nails aren't my first priority," Claire defended, glancing down at her nails and seeing the same nails she saw every day. "They aren't that bad, anyway." Ino looked down once more, taking out a piece of paper and folding it up into a small triangle. "What are you doing?"

"My nail supplies are at home," She replied offhandedly, sliding the piece of paper underneath Claire's pointer finger nail gently. "I don't even know if this is dirt or not..." Ino let out a sour laugh. "This would take days..."

"Then don't bother, I have better things to do then get prettied up," Claire snapped, snatching her hands back from Ino's grasp and puckering her lips. "I'm leaving," She declared, kicking her feet outward and rocking back, lifting her body off of the chair by just her hands and stumbling slightly as she landed.

"I'll see you tomorrow, then!" Ino called as Claire exited the flower shop, pushing aside the cloth hanging from the doorway angrily.

"Like hell you will," Claire muttered, stuffing her hands in her pockets and kicking up large puffs of dirt with each step. "Crazy freakin'..." She slowed to a stop, all of a sudden very conscious of her nails. "They aren't dirty..." Her hand exited her pocket slowly, lifting up to her face, her eyes giving the nail Ino had begun to clean a look over.

"They are pretty dirty, Claire." Her head whipped around as the man spoke behind her, seeing Dai lumbering over her once again.

"Why are you following me?" Dai's face stayed solemn, his hands rising at his sides in an attempt at a shrug, his monstrous height making it almost impossible for Claire to even see his shoulders move.

"When will you learn that I'm not following you?" His hands lowered back to his sides.

"It sure looks like you're following me, I mean, you're here aren't you?" Claire inquired angrily.

"I am," He answered; completely oblivious to the fact Claire had meant it to be rhetorical. "You know why we keep a close eye on you."

"Yeah, yeah," Claire waved her hand in an attempt to get Dai to leave. "I know exactly why, and I've already told you no." She spat, turning to face Dai, realizing she only reached his chest. Dai's hand left his side, reaching towards Claire slowly and wrapping around her hand tightly.

"You can't defy destiny." He replied coldly, tightening his grip.

"Watch me," Claire hissed, holding her free hand out at her side and feeling her chakra coursing down her arm, forming the familiar barrel in her hand, the rest of the gun forming  to reveal her go-to weapon.  With one swift movement, the barrel of the gun was pressed up against Dai's chest, his shirt bunching up around it.

"You won't," Dai grinned, wrapping his free hand around the gun pressed against him. "Why don't you put that down before you get hurt?" The suggestion was laced with the same domineering tone Claire's father used.

"Oh, I won't be the one getting hurt."
