On my way to History, I kept on thinking about how snappy Bianca was. Then it all cleared up when I remembered that she was angry at her parents.
"Aves, over here!" Clair shouted from the back of the room. I quickly made my way and took the seat beside hers in the corner. I was in no mood today, so we chatted for a little bit and then slipped my headphones in when I realized we had a substitute. "Avery..." I heard someone say my name and turned to look at Clair.
"Yup?" I stared into her lovely Grey eyes and couldn't help but smile.
"Is everything OK? she asked. She looked really worried.
I smiled,"Yeah, everything is peachy!" I mentally cursed myself because I know it was a lie.
"Remember Aves," she smiled weakly,"You can tell me anything!" her voice was calm and genuine.
I smiled reassuringly and gave her a quick nod,"I know!" I slipped my headphones back in and put my head down on the desk. Within seconds, I was asleep.
"Wake up sleeepyyyy heaaaad!" a familiar voice whispered in my ear. Smiling, I knew it was Clair. After leaving, I walked with Marc to English. I was hoping this period would go by without any incidents, and by incidents I mean, me yelling at Jesse or me punching Brooke in the face. Jesse droned on and on about some book we were going read. Don't get me wrong, I love reading, but I wasn't in the mood to pay attention today. After class I grabbed my bag and dashed through the door. I heard Jesse say my name, but I didn't bother to look back. I rushed up the stairs to lunch, and into a booth. The smell in the cafeteria made me sick. A few minutes later Bianca came up to the table, with a big smile on her face. My eyes widened at her obvious happy state. Before I could say anything about, Clair and Marc came over.
"The food looks DELICIOUS today!" Clair squealed. I laughed. Bianca's smile had faded then her snappy mood returned.
"Clair," she snapped,"Can you be any louder?" she rolled her eyes and walked away to join the lunch line.
"What the hell-" Clair started, but I cut her off before she could finish.
"I don't know!" I rolled my eyes,"She has been like that all morning, but before you guys came, she had a big smile on her face!" I said, knowing that sounded bad. "I don't mean it like that!" I said quickly.
"We know!" they said at the same time. Five minutes later Bianca came back and Marc and Clair left to join the now, 'short line.' I contemplated whether or not to start a conversation with her. I didn't want to get into an argument.
"Bianca," I said. There was no turning back now. "Is there something wrong? I asked. She knitted her brows, but didn't look up from her food.
"What do you mean?" she said finally looking up.
"You've been," I said,"A bit snappy!" I continued. She rolled her eyes and sighed.
"I'm fine Avery, it's just that whole thing with my parents this morning!" she forced a smile,"I'm stressed, they're stressing me out!" she smiled. This time it was real.
"I'm here if you," I immediately stopped myself, thinking back to this morning.
"I know Avery!" she smiled. I suddenly felt a wave of relief wash over me, and headed to gym class.

"Hey," I heard a familiar voice say from behind. I wanted to pretend I didn't hear the voice, but I had already turned to face the person.
"Hi!" I faked a smile at Drew.
"How you been?" he asked. What the hell... Where was this heading.
"Fine," I gave him a confused look,"You?" I continued.
"I miss you...Ave!" he smiled weakly,"Please, please, take me back!" he begged. I looked around to see if anyone was watching. I saw Bianca and some other people watching closely from far away. I rolled my eyes and turn my attention back to Drew.
"I...I don't know Drew!" I said.
"Avery!" I didn't mean to hurt you,"I just lost my temper," he sounded sincere,"I love you and you kissed some other guy, I was hurt, just please give us another chance, and promise you won't hurt me like that again!" he looked sorry, and hurt. I looked at the gymnasium floor, then back to him.

Drew's P.O.V
"I miss you...Ave!" I smiled weakly,"Please, please, take me back!" I begged. She was looking around, I'm assuming to see if anyone was watching. She turned back her attention to me, and I gazed into her pale gray eyes.
"I...I don't know Drew!" I said.
"Avery!" I didn't mean to hurt you,"I just lost my temper," I tried sounding sincere,"I love you and you kissed some other guy, I was hurt, just please give us another chance, and promise you won't hurt me like that again!" he looked sorry, and hurt. Her eyes left mine, and found it's way to the floor. I knew I got her where I wanted, and I was going to get my Avery back. Teacher boy could kick rocks for all I care. I cupped her beautiful face with my hands. Her eyes met mine and I smiled. Come on Avery, come on.
"I'm sorry too," she whispered. I wrapped my arms around her waist and brought her closer to me.
"I love you Avery," I smiled and kissed her lips. It felt like forever since I've done that and I really missed. She won't be leaving me anytime soon.
I rushed out of the locker room excited. I had to go find Avery. My mood then left when Bianca decides she could talk to me.
"I hate you..." Bianca snapped,"You son of a bitch!" she pushed me, but I didn't stumble.
"What do you want Bianca?" I asked,"And don't say me, we've already gone over this!" I whispered. I had the feeling someone was listening to our conversation and I was praying to God it was Avery. I wanted her to see how much of a bitch Bianca really is.
"You led me on..." she hissed.
"What?" I shouted,"I didn't lead you on, you threw yourself on me!" I snapped. She rolled her eyes. She looked really upset.
"Whatever.." with that she stormed away.

Avery's P.O.V
I really hope that was the right thing to do, forgiving Drew like that. I still had feelings for him, it never left. It wasn't Drew I was worried about. It was Jesse... I feel like a slut and I don't deserve anyone. It's wrong what I am doing, jumping from one guy to the other. It's not a good look, and I really need to choose already. All this thinking was making me tired. I went to my locker and then made my way out to my car.
"Babe," I felt Drew snake his arms around my waist. He kissed my neck, and sent shivers down my spine.
"Hey," I smiled,"I missed you!" He looked happy.
"What are you doing tonight?" he asked. I wasn't doing anything. Beside studying for mid-terms. Or whatever state test that was coming up.
"Besides studying," I smiled,"Nothing, what do you have in mind?" I asked.
"I was saying we should catch a movie!" he said.
"Alright, only if you promise to get me home before eleven!" I chuckled.
"I promise," he smiled pulling me closer to him. Somehow this didn't feel right but I was just playing along.
