The Web of Trepidation

When my words won't escape,
They catch in a web of trepidation.
A net of foreboding.
They remain at the opening of my mouth,
On the edge of my tongue,
At the pursing of my lips,
Wanting to be free.
But the confinement to fear,
Is far too strong to release the words,
Struggling to become autonomous.
