contagiously passing a longing for sunsets never before seen though if beauty defines it it must

a sun so warm and terrifying, sustaining life yet floating and could fall for eternities, or could burn everything loved

the longing to touch a flame so dangerous yet so inviting, a gust of wind sets it alive like fiery red locks in a breeze
brewing jealousy

one much like an allergen of emotions had spent an eternity trying to avoid them

arms are chains are jealousy are holding down the thing not to be let go, despite the pain and the urge to release to cause more pain

slamming the door on insecurity
slicing the air like a paper cut
and stings

she is but a wild fire dancing in the destruction she causes
unstoppable
much like gravity and tears

eyes so soft, as if they're always waiting to catch her no matter how hard she might fall

so she did
and thanks to gravity, like clockwork, she falls once more every day

happiness casts the windows gold as if summer went off like fireworks just beyond
and the pane is stained with burning crimson in sadness

windows are transparent to her
even when they appear fogged to the society beyond

inside lives silver fixtures and glass vases bursting of daisies and homesickness of a place she's been gone from for so long

a house by definition is for human habitation

a home is not by definition, it is what is declared
and she declared hers within the arms of sanctuary

and she will never need an escape
because one should not need an escape from the one she calls home

and for as long as the sun sets she will always be basking in it's grasping reach
a gift one cannot return

an anecdote to a reality
poison settling in and breaking apart
vases of transparency finally shatter

as if a puzzle could be more perfect, unsolved
more whole in pieces
tied together in beauty and distinction
rather than completion and recurrence

a nonpareil of fitful euphoria and impediment to bliss
verbally and physically undefined
sublimity beyond words
