So today is the day Mum's coming back, i had called her before explaining that i had got a boyfriend, she didn't seem that bothered but i think she will be bothered when i tell her about the idea of moving out. With George. I want this, i need this! I don't want to leave her on her own, but she's always away at work so what's the point? We don't even spend time together. Hardly.

~ knock knock ~

"MUMMMM!!!!!!" I hugged my mum so tightly.

"Little space please Lyd." She laughed, i did miss her, don't get me wrong. I mean she's my mum, ofcourse i missed her.

"Sorry mum! I've missed you so much, i've made some pasta for you, bet you're starving! Oh and i want to introduce George to you... Maybe today?" I quickly said to her.

"Mmm! Pasta! I'll eat and have a quick shower, sounds great. I hope he's a nice guy lyds."

"He is mum. He's the best thing that's ever happened to me." I quickly hugged her and she went to eat some pasta while i went upstairs to text George quickly.

To: George Xx

'Mums round now, come in about two hours ish??xx'

From: George Xx

'Okay sounds good! Xx'

I put my phone away and applied some mascara and foundation on my face, just a natural look. I was so scared to tell mum about the whole apartment thing. Eeeek.

* 2 hours later *

"When's George coming then love?" Mum asked me.

"He should be coming soon, we need to ask you something mum."

"What's that?"

"Well you know how you're always away for your job, like atleast two weeks away from me so i'm home alone, i thought maybe just maybe i could get an apartment with George. We'd share the money and i'll promise i'll take care, i'll pay you visits whenever i can pleaseeeee?" What have i done? I should have waited for George. The look on her face is concerncing me. It's a no, i know it.

"Woah Lydia, slow down you're eightee-" She was cut off by knocking on the door. I completely ignored what she just said and ran to the door.

I greeted George and led him to the living room where my mum was stood.

"You must be George." My mum shook his hand. How awkward?

"Yeah, you must be Lydia's mum. Nice to meet you Ms Smith." George said as politely as he could.

"Call me Ange. Angela, whatever you want sweety, so Lydia's told me a lot about you." She winked at George, what the hell Mum? Why does she have to embarass me? Ugh.

"I hope good stuff." George laughed

"Ofcourse, she loves you George, she really does."

"Well i love her too, from the bottom of my heart. She's the best thing that has ever happened to me." George said. This is getting awkward, i need to say something.

"Anywaaaay... Mum lets go get drinks from the kitchen. George you stay here, put anything you want on." I handed him the sky remote and followed Mum to the kitchen.

"What was that all about?" Mum asked me.

"You embarassed me Mum, that wasn't fair, i really love George and you know that, i don't want to mess up things."

"Oh c'mon lyds!" She snapped. Calm it. Jeez!

I quickly poured some coke in for George and went back to him while mum was making tea for herself. Finally, time with George. I sat beside him on the sofa, he pulled me closer by the waist and i put my face onto his chest.

"Hello gorgeous." He said.

"Hi George, sorry about the awkwardness."

"It's cool, your mum is so cute!" He laughed.

"George... I asked mum about the apartment she said no. Well she didn't say no but i know it's going to be a definite no. I'm sorry, i love you George, you know that right?"

"Woah woah who said i said no?" My mum gegged in.

"Mum! You were in the kitchen a second ago."

"Yeah well, i'm back now! Now answer my question."

"I just feel you won't let me, like i'm trapped in this house, forever. You leave me here on my own for weeks mum, i get lonely." Tears started welling up in my eyes, George held me tighter, a sense of protection came over me.

"Lydia. I didn't say no. I'm just scared. All i want to see is my daughter protected and safe, you are the only thing left of me lyds." She said giving me a worried look.

"She has me Ange," George added. Thank God he was here. "I'm her boyfriend, i'm here to protect her, keep her safe and happy. I promise i'll take care of her. She's in good hands." George gave me a massive smile for assurance. Please mum. Please.

"Well if you say so..." She laughed and ran up to us and gave us a massive hug. I loved her. I loved him. I loved them both. George and Mum. My two stars.
