Love Story / George Shelley Fanfic

So me and George went to Paris together it was amazing, we kept trying for a baby but it just wouldn't work, but George assured me that when the time is right baby Shelley will come, he promised me. We were at George's mum's house today with Harriet and Will.

"Can we have a girly day today?" Harriet quickly said. Why so urgent?

"Erm yeah sure," I replied "lets have a movie day!"

"Noooo i want to go out." Harriet begged. George had a cheeky smirk on his face, what was going on?

"Umm okay? What are you gonna do George?" I asked.

"Oh e-er n-nothing." He replied, blushing a little. Can someone please tell me what's going on?

"Really? Because you don't seem sure!"

"We'll have a movie day!" Will quickly added, George gave him a smile, like 'thanks for saving me'

I had no idea what was going on so me and Harriet quickly got changed and went shopping. I didn't question her about what was going on but she seem a tad excited but then again, she's always smiley.

I didn't really buy anything apart from this cute dress but Harriet bought loads! Jeez! She loved shopping. We decided to have a break so we went into Costa for a drink.

Harriet looked at her phone and smiled and she quickly replied to what i'm guessing is a text.

"Lets go!" She squealed.

"Wait what? Why so quickly???" I replied, confused.

"Just come on!" She grabbed my arm and took me to the car, we got a few weird looks but hey. And off we went, home.

*outside home*

"I'll get the bags, you go in." Harriet said.

"No i'll help you!" I smiled.

"Get in there now!" She said. I just gave her a confused look and nodded. I made my way inside, Will's car was gone, would George be gone too?

The lights were off in the passage,

"H-hello anyone home??" I managed to get out.

"George? Toni?" I shouted a bit.

I went back out and Harriet was gone, what the hell.

I opened the door to the living room and

It was beautiful, it was all lit up and there were candles everywhere but i noticed something else, george, with his guitar.

"It's a beautiful night, we're looking for something dumb to do," he strummed away. "Hey baby, i think i wanna marry you." He sang, his voice was so beautiful just like him. I felt like i was in heaven in prescence.

I stood there looking into his chocolate brown eyes confused.

He put his guitar on the side and went down onto one knee,

"Lydia. We've been through so much, the ups and the downs but spending those times with you has been the biggest honour of my life. You make me so happy and i need you in my life forever, i'm sorry if this is a bit rushed but Lydia,

Will you marry me?" He opened the box.

Oh my God. It was the most beautiful diamond ring i had ever seen, snap out lydia! He just proposed.

"O-oh my God, YESSSSSS!!!" I hugged him so tight, and we started kissing passionately.

"I can't wait to get married to you my beautiful cupcake." He said.

"I'm so lucky to have you." I smiled, and we started kissing again until someone came in. Harriet. I quickly pulled away.

"YAYYYYY! You're engaged! Congrats!" She squealed and gave us a massive hug leading onto Toni and Will joining us too.

"So the whole going out thing was because George wanted his proposal to be special?" I asked.

"Yep. He was proper crapping one." Will said. I laughed and looked at George who was giving Will a 'what the hell' look.

"Anyway," George emphasised, "i'm taking you out for dinner so get ready." He pecked me on the lips.

"Ew get a room!" Harriet added.

"Leave them alone." Toni said.

I just laughed and went up to get ready, this has by far been the best day ever. No day can beat this apart from maybe our wedding, i wonder how that'll go!
