Santana and Dani Part 19

Santana

The movie gets over I look down at Dani and she fell a sleep. I slowly grab a pillow so that she doesn't wake up I put it under her head and slowly get up. Rachel hands me a blanket I grab it.

Santana: Thank you.

Rachel: You're welcome.

I cover Dani up and kiss her forehead.

Kurt: Well Blaine and I are heading to bed.

Rachel: Night guys.

Santana: Good night and thank you.

Kurt gasps.

Kurt: Did Santana Lopez just say thank you?

Santana: Yes I did and I'm not going to say it again.

Kurt: That's fine with me.

Blaine: And you're welcome.

Blaine and Kurt go to his room. I sit at the table and sigh Rachel sits next to me.

Rachel: How are you doing?

Santana: Oh I'm fine I just feel sorry for Dani.

Rachel: Me too but I'm sure that she doesn't need people to feel sorry for her. She needs people that will be there when she needs a shoulder to cry on or to talk to.

Santana: I'll be both.

Rachel: Same with me, Kurt, and Blaine. You don't have to do it alone.

Rachel grabs my hand and squeezes it I hear Dani mumble I get up and walk to her.

Dani: Santana?

Santana: I'm here.

I sit in the couch and let her cuddle up to me. Rachel walks to the chair and sits down.

Rachel: How are you feeling?

Dani: A little better. What time is it?

I look at my watch.

Santana: Just past ten.

Dani: I should go home.

Rachel: Why don't you stay here tonight? I don't think that you should be alone right now.

Dani: Where would I sleep?

Santana: In my bed with me.

Dani

I sit straight up. Did Santana just say that I could sleep with her?

Dani: Uh...

Santana: I mean you can sleep on the bed I will sleep on the couch or floor.

Dani: No you will sleep in the bed with me I could use a cuddle buddy tonight.

Santana: Are you sure?

Dani: Yes.

I grab Santana's hand and smile.

Rachel: Do you have work tomorrow?

Dani: Yeah I work the graveyard shift.

Rachel: Me too so you won't be alone there either.

Dani: Thank you guys.

Rachel: Like I said before you are part of our small family.

Dani: You have no idea how much that means to me.

I pull Rachel into a tight hug. I start to cry Rachel rubs my back.

Rachel: Its okay its okay.

I get done crying.

Santana: We should head to bed.

Dani: Yeah I'm tired.

I hug Rachel one more time than get up Santana gets up too we walk to Santana's room.

Sorry that this is short. I'm running out of things to put I'm actually having writers block anyways I don't know if I'm going to continue with this story.
