I walk into the Diner I'm looking around I see my dad and walk up to him.

Dani's dad: I'm glad that you came.

Dani: I only came cause you said there was something that I needed to know.

Dani's dad: Its about your grandma.

Dani: What about her?

Dani's dad: She passed away.

It feels like I'm hit by a truck she was the only one that accepted me for who I was. She was the first person that I told. A tear falls from my eye I wipe it off quickly.

Dani: You're lying.

Dani's dad: No I'm not that's how I knew you were here in New York. She told me before she passed. I just wanted you to know that and she also wanted me to give you this.

My dad slides a envelope towards me I just stare at it I can't even think right now. My dad gets up and leaves the diner, I swallow the lump that's in my throat I can't...I mean I don't believe it she can't be gone she just can't be. I grab the envelope and open it I gasp as I grab a necklace its a cross with diamonds on it. This was hers she never took this off I squeeze it and try not to cry. I look in the envelope again there is a letter.

Dani reading the note: To my beautiful granddaughter if you are reading this letter that means that I've moved onto a more beautiful place. If you haven't found it yet I put my most prized possesion in the envelope along with this letter I got this necklace from my grandmother and now I'm passing it down to you. Keep care of it. I'm very proud of you I'll be watching over you. Love, your Gma

I get done reading the letter I have tears running down my face I put the necklace on amd I put the letter back into the envelope. I get up and walk out of the diner. I don't want to go home so I head over to Santana's.

Santana

Rachel, Blaine, Kurt, and I are watching The Notebook. I really love this movie God I'm turning into a sap. Maybe that's a good thing maybe its a bad thing ugh whatever I don't care anymore. There is a knock on the door I look around I go to get up but Rachel gets up before me.

Rachel: Oh hi Dani.

I hear Dani's name so I get up and walk to the door I have a smile on my face but it fades when I see Dani. It looks like she was crying but why? I grab her hand and pull her inside we walk to the table Rachel is behind us. Kurt paused the movie and he gets up with Blaine.

Santana: What's wrong?

Dani: My...my grandma passed away.

Dani starts to break down I pull her into a hug. Rachel hugs both of us I usual don't let her or Hummel touch me, but I don't care cause Dani needs not just me but all of us. She gets done crying I wipe her tears away and kiss her cheek.

Santana: When did you find out about your grandma?

Dani: Just a little bit ago.

Santana: I'm so sorry Dani.

Dani: Thanks. I didn't mean to intrude on you guys.

Rachel: Don't worry about it you are our friend.

Kurt: Yeah you can come here whenever you want to.

Dani: Thanks.

Blaine: I don't know you that well but I might have something to cheer you up.

Santana: Blaine you aren't going to sing.

Blaine: What's more healing than music Santana?

Dani: I would love to hear it.

Blaine nods his head and walks to a piano we all follow him amd he starts to play he is amazing.

Dani: That means a lot and thank you Blaine.

Blaine: Your welcome.

Kurt: Do you want to finish watching The Notebook with us?

Dani: I would love to.

Santana grabs my hand and we go to the couch I cuddle up to her Blaine and Kurt sit on the floor. Rachel sits on the chair Kurt pushes play. I could never get enough of this I'm really glad that I met Santana. I cuddle closer to Santana and smile.
