chapter 4 : it's a date?

I woke up at about 7:30 so that I had time to get a run in before the day started. I got dressed into a pair of tight leggings and a sports bra. I put on my Nike shoes and grabbed a sports cap before grabbing my camera.

"Hello my beautiful people" I said stretching my arms out

"It's nearly 8:00 in he morning" I said checking my imaginary watch on my wrist

"And I have to get that daily work out in so I'm going to go for a run" I said

"I will see you in a bit!" I said doing a weird transition. I placed the camera down and grabbed my headphones walking out of my room. I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen to make myself a quick pre workout shake.

I finished off my shake before heading out. No one was up yet, or that I had notice so I didn't really worry about being quite or not. It was time for everyone to get up!

------half an hour later------

I stopped catching my breathe and bending over resting my hands on my knees. I could feel the sweat dripping down my face, it was a disgusting feeling but it would be all worth it in the end when I had hard rock abs.... yea that won't happen.

I started running again not even looking up and went head first into someone. Making me fall back and onto the ground. I groaned grabbing the back of my head in pain. I slowly got up seeing a tall blonde guy in front of me. Once it focused I saw... jake?

"Jake?" I asked as he was still trying to gain balance after that accident

"A-Alissa? I'm so sorry" he said trying to help me up

"Are you okay?" He asked frantically looking me over

"Jake, I'm fine it was a little bump" I said looking up at him

"Yea i little bump makes you fall doesn't it" he said as we started walking, I just guested out laughing for no apparent reason. He looked at me like I was some psychopath.

"Come on jake! You gotta smile" I said

"I'm still mad at you" he said as we kept walking back to the house

"It was a prank!" I said and he ignored me

"You were asking for it" I said

"I was not" he said

"You were too" I said back nudging him a little

"Anyway, you w-want to go get dinner t-tonight?" He asked shyly stumbling on his words

"Uh.. sure" I said as I had nothing else planned for the day

"Sweet" he said smiling down at me

"See there's a smile" I said cheerfully

———later that day———

"So guys it's around 6 o'clock and jake and I are going out for dinner" I said

"This is what I'm wearing" I said flipping the camera around to face. I was wearing a nude dress with an oversized denim jacket. I had light makeup on and a pair of nude heels.

"It's not to formal and not to casual" I said

"Let's go my babies!" I said as I started to make my way out the door and down the stairs to see jake waiting for me

"Finally" he saids into his camera

"I didn't take that long" I said

"Yea ya did" he said

"Stuff you" I said as we headed out and to jake's new car

"So guys this is our first date" jake saids getting into the car as I did. I just looked at my camera and back at his and then back to mine

"..it's not a date" I said

"Well if you kissed me it would be a date" he said as I set his camera down on the dash board

"Not gonna happen" I said into mine

We sang along to most of the songs that came on and filmed some wacky content for both our vlogs. Got to keep our people entertained!

"So guys I took alissa to this very expensive restaurant for our first date" jake said as we got out of the car

"Its not a date" I said as we walked in, he mumbled something to his camera and smiled at me

"Don't tell them stuff and not tell me" I said hitting him

We walked in and sat down jake pulling out my chair for me

"He is actually a gentleman everyone" I said into the camera before turning it off. I didn't want to have my camera out the whole time, it was just so antisocial.

"So how have you liked team 10 so far?" He asked me as he set down his camera as well

"It's great, I love how you are all so close to each other and are so comfortable around one another" I said

"Reminds me a lot of home" I said

"How so?" He asked

"I had a pretty tight family growing up. We were all very close with one another" I said

"That was like my family. Until my parents had a divorce.. but we are still pretty close" he said with a small smile

"I'm sorry" I said

"Nah it's fine, it's in the past" he said just in time for our food to come

We ate and talked the whole time. We weren't on our phones at all.. well I wasn't. Every once in a while jake would get on his phone and send a text through to someone. It didn't bother me much, he has lots of business to take care of.

We finished eating and made our way back to the car.

"I am stuffed" I said into my camera as I opened the door to the car and sat down

"Same" he said into his

"Our date was amazing" he said into the camera and I looked at his camera and paused

"It's not a date!" I said, he whispered something to his camera before driving off. We drove in silence. It wasn't awkward but a comfortable silence. We got to the house and parked the car.

"So is it to late to ask for a kiss?" He asked turning to me a smirk on his face

"Well...it was a date.." I said before starting to lean in, he was inches from my face before I pulled away

"Noooooo" I said before opening the car door and getting out, jake did as well and we both walked together into the house. I unlocked the door and stepped in.....

But what was waiting on the other side...

I'm thinking of doing just a lot of short chapters instead of super long ones..what do you think??
