COQUEEN#2 HAS BEEN FOUND!!! OMG OMG OMG!!! I TOT SHE WAS EATING PIZZA WITHOUT ME IN PIZZALANDIA!!! 😭😭!!!

Anyways so for this happy event… I wrote a one shot for my best friend irl for her book MTYAM2!!

Markae one shot

(starting from when they were invited inside the grandma's house in MTYAM2)

Min Ae pov:

Sweat was probably visible on my face as I swept the floor the second time today. Yes, it's almost night and still had no contact with JYP. We tried using the old phone but no one responded so we had to leave it to that. We would've regularly called if not for the halmonei asking is to work, I mean I don't mind helping out at all but I guess I've never done so much chores after my debut.

Wow I missed my old times. Now when I looked back two years ago before I debuted, it feels as if I was living in a whole different world. I missed my mom's cooking and my dad's pestering about how he could help. I missed how small gestures could lead to small quarrels which makes me laugh at how they are. I missed how my parents were always there for me and also my friends. I missed a lot of things back when I was away.

I shook my head as I realise I was leaning on the broom stick with both my hands on the head of the broomstick while my head was pleasantly resting on them. Min Ae.... Work!! With that i went back to what I was doing.

Inspiration hit me like a slap on the face. I don't know how but I started humming randomly and some lyrics just started to flow in my head. I was humming and working at the same time and It seems to keep my work more fun. This went on for a while and soon I was finished cleaning with words for lyrics still roaming in my head. After the whole feat today, a smile finally cracked my face.

"Yokshi. Good job." A voice rang out on my left and i turned to find the owner of the voice none other than the halmonei. She smiled genuinely for once and not wanting to comment on that, I returned the kind gesture. "You will make a good wife someday kid" she commented again. This time I responded with wide eyes and flushed cheeks. Well that was unexpected.

"Kasahamida..." I said still unsure about it. Halmonei's stern face returned so I took that as a sign that her kindness was only up to a limit.

"Now, since you're done, help me with the cooking" she said as she started to walk towards the kitchen. I should say something right? My cooking skills are not good and I don't want halmonei to get angry. "Palli" she called out again and I quickly rested the broom beside the wall and hurried behind her.

We reached the kitchen and the halmonei started to take out the vegetables from a basket on the table. I kept standing there watching her and waiting for her to tell me to do something, occasionally hearing some mutterings from the halmonei as she worked on taking out all the ingredients. Mark oppa and Jackson oppa are wiping the windows and mopping the floor respectively so I couldn't even ask them to help me get out of this situation. Not that I won't help, I just don't want to mess up.

"Aui. Come here and help me clean these vegetables" halmonei finally spoke out loud without making eye contact. She doesn't seem as irritated as she was when we first arrived so I guess that's a good sign? I didn't bother arguing about that in my head as I went over to the sink and started to wash the vegetables throughout.

The lyrics rearranged themselves and I started to hum again. Wow, who knew doing work can inspire you to start writing lyrics? If my humming was annoying to halmonei, she didn't comment on it and I was in a way thankful cause if me and the oppas were supposed to write a song then we need all the inspiration we can get. Thankfully halmonei asked to only help with heading her ingredients and cutting vegetables which relieved me because I didn't want the food she made go to waste.

"Halmonei~~ we're done!!!!" Jackson oppas voice popped out of nowhere that it made me gasp in surprise. It was so quite excluding my humming since we were engrossed in our work that I couldn't hear him come. He came into view followed by Mark oppa whom I refused to make eye contact with. I was too embarrassed by what happened before I didn't have the guts to face him anymore. Halmonei gave him a stern black look and went back to cooking the broth for the soup.

Jackson oppa awkwardly laughed and muttered something about going to make a call again for JYP before turning to glance at me. I puffed out a breath to blow the hair that fell out from my bun, which I kept tied around before starting to work, away and gave oppa an apologetic look. He just smiled in response and went back to the telephone. Let's hope someone picks up.

I resumed my work, blandly ignoring Mark oppa and cutting the vegetables that halmonei asked me to cut. Throughout cooking the whole meal, I could feel Mark oppa's stare following me around which made it harder for me to do since I keep stealing glance fro. Time to time. What happened to Jackson oppa... I don't know but I just didn't want Mark oppa standing there and making me feel even more embarrassed from how I reacted. Halmonei openly glanced between the two of us but still kept quiet which to my disappointment didn't help me much.

Mark oppa... Miane!!!!
