Alyssa's P.O.V.
I'm downstairs with a blanket wrapped around me staring up at the moon. Sleep never came for me so I'm paying the price by having to stay awake. "What are you doing up love?" I hear klaus ask from behind me. I turn around towards him still clutching the blanket in my hands. "I couldn't sleep I'm afraid of having nightmares." I admit. "Come here love." He says opening up his arms. I wrap my arms around him the blankets still in my hands. "Let's sit on the couch instead of standing." He cuts in me still in his arms. We pull apart and walk over to the couch and sit down. I lay my head on his chest and he run his hand through my hair. "So love what is your favorite color?" He asks me. "It's silver and gold." I answer him. "What else do you enjoy doing?" He asks me again. "I use to draw and I use to read a lot." I answer him. "If you could live anywhere where would it be and why?" He asks continuing to run his hand through my hair. "It would be Paris. The city is so beautiful the culture,the language,and history. It's the city of romance and the lock bridge I would like to visit it someday." I say honestly. "I would be glad to take you love if you want me to." He affirms. "Really?" I ask turning to look up at him. "Yes love anything for you. You are my world I'd die for you." He admitted. "I'll take you up on that offer one of these days." I tell him. "Just say the word love and we're there." He says. He's still running his hand through my hair making my eyes grow a little heavy.
"I'm getting tired." I yawn. "Looks like you should go to bed now love." Klaus suggests. "Can you sleep with me tonight? I don't want to sleep alone." I say sheepishly. "Yes of course love." He tells me. I yawn again and tiredness creeps up on my. I feel Klaus lift me up in his arms and I loosely wrap my arms around his neck. "Hold on tight love." He almost whispers. Suddenly I feel like we're going at the speed of light then we're in front of my bedroom. "Another vampire ability?" I ask. "Yes that super strength,compulsion,and the ability to get into others head." He explains. He lays me on my bed gently and gets in beside me. He snakes his arms around me and I snuggle into him.
Alyssa's P.O.V.
I wake up to find the spot next to me bare but a note in its place. I unfold the note carefully and recognize Klaus's familiar handwriting.
Dear Alyssa,
By the time tou read this I will already be at the grill with Kol having drinks. No one is at home but don't invite anyone you don't know in. You can do whatever to keep yourself busy I'll be home later.

I fold the note back up and place it on my dresser and get up. I open my door and peer into the hall. I close the door behind me and walk downstairs. I walk to the kitchen and look through the cupboards until I find some baking soda and cookie mix.I get a bowl and a spoon and set that on the counter. I then grab some butter and eggs. I grab a measuring cup and ser that down too. I pour in the cookie mix then crack the eggs inside next I pour in the water. Next I throw in a pinch of baking soda. I start to mix everything up for 60 seconds and I set the bowl on the counter and get out a baking pan. I set that on the counter and start to make circle with the cookie stuff. I open up the oven and put the pan inside. I set the timer for 12 minutes and start to run up the stairs to my room. I grab an outfit from my closet and a pair of underwear and and a bra from my drawer. I grab my towel and rush to the bathroom I throw my clothes on the floor. I turn on the shower not caring about the temperature. I gtab my wash towel and soap and start scrubing my body. Once I feel like I'm clean I wash off the soap and go to wash my hair. Once it's all nice and soft I wash out the shampoo then put the conditioner through my hair. I leave it in for a moment and begin to wash it out once it's all out I turn off the shower and get out and dry myself off. I put on my bra and panties I put on lotion and all that on really quickly. I quickly throw on my clothes and pick up my previous ones and rush to my room. I throw them on the floor and grab a pair of socks and run downstairs to the kitchen. I stand in front of the oven and put on my socks. I look at the timer at norice I have fifteen seconds to spare. When the timer goes off I turn off the oven and use oven mits to take out the pan. I set it down and take off the oven mits. I set the timer for two minutes and sit down on the counter. When the timer goes off I take a cookie off the pan and take a bite. I chew slowly when I realize tomorrow is my birthday. I'll be twenty three tomorrow yay me.
Klaus's P.O.V.
Me and Kol are currently buying gifts and decorations for Alyssa's birthday party. "She's really special to you isn't she brother?" Klaus asks. "Yes she is Kol which is why if soemthing happens to her because you can't control yourself. There's a coffin with your name on in the basement." I intoned.
"Nothing will happen brother you have my word. I happen to actually like her she's the only person who seems like they see good in me." Kol admits. "Anyway let's get this show in the road we have a party to prepare. " I tell him. After we pay for the decorations we leave to go home and hide the decorations until tomorrow night.
