Alyssa's P.O.V.
Me and Klaus are currently having lunch at a restraunt in Georgia. "You know you didn't really have to take me out to Georgia for lunch." I say matter of factly. "I know love what I wanted to. And by the way I have something for you." He reveals. He then takes out something that's wrapped up and hands it to me. I rip it open quickly and it's a journal."What's this for?" I asked a bit confused.
"You said you haven't written in a while so when we went to the mall that time I decided to buy it for you." He explains. "Thank you so much I haven't written in so long. I honestly forgot what it feels like to write." I acknowledge. "Also I have something else for you." He announces. He gets up and gets down on one knee. He pulls out the promise ring he gave to me months ago. "This ring symbolizes my love for you. You are mine and I am yours." He proclaims loudly. I hold out my hand and he slips it onto my finger. We share a kiss and then he gets back up and sits down. Everyone around us claps then go back to what they were doing. I blush in slight embarrassment. "Also another thing love there might come a time where you need to contact me so I got you a new phone and some earphones to go along with it. Mine,Elijah,Kol, and Rebekah's phone numbers are already programed." He tells me handing me a phone. "Wow. You didn't have to spend all that money on me." I say sheepishly. "But thank you." I add. "When you've been around as long as I have you tend your wealth tends to build up. And your welcome gorgeous." He says. We finish eating and Klaus calls the waiter over and pays for the bill. He takes my hand pulling me up and my new phone and notebook in my other hand we walk out of the restraunt to his car getting in. I open up the notebook and start using the pencil that came with the notebook and I start to draw Klaus. When I'm finished we're crossing the north carolina state line. I close it back up and set it on the dashboard. I turn on my phone and plug in the earphones. I go to the app store and download Pandora once it's installed I create an account and all that and start listening to Hasley radio. I lean on my side and close my eyes and just let the music take me to another world.
Klaus's P.O.V.
I can hear the music blasting from Alyssa's new phone and I steal a glance at her. I smile knowing I'm lucky to have her but at the same time worried about her safety because I have a lot of enemies. She is the light of my life the key to my humanity with her my anger washes away completely she is my anchor.
I comtinue driving and I see the 'Welcome To Mystic Falls' sign.
Alyssa's P.O.V.
I feel the car stop and I open my eyes and see that we've arrived home. I pause pandora and exit the app. I take out the earphones and I grab my journal and pencil. Klaus opens the door for me and helps me out. We walk inside and walk hand and hand up the stairs. We kiss and part ways going into our rooms. I walk into my room facing the door and close it I turn around and notice Rebekah sitting on my bed with a bunch of snacks on it. "We are having a slumber party and you missy are going to tell me about your date with my brother." She says leaving no room for arguement. "Okay fine." I respond. I walk over to my drawer and pull out a pair of pajamas. I leave and go take a shower. When I'm finished with my shower I walk back into my room and sit next to Rebekah on my bed. I grab my notebook and tear out the drawing of Klaus. I set the notebook to the side and get back up. I grab a push pin and oin the drawing on the wall. I sit next to Bekah on my bed grabbing a slice of pizza. "So how was the date?" She asks. "It was amazing he told me the promise ring he gave me was a symbol of his love for me. And that I am his and he is mine." I gush. "And he got me this notebook and a new phone." I explain showing her the phone and notebook. "Aww. Klaus and Alyssa sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G." She sings. My cheeks immediately start to heat up and I try to hide my face. I finish up my pizza and get a handful of chips. "We should braid each others hair." I bring up. "Okay do you want to go first or should I?"she asks and I'm in the middle of chewing. I swallow the chips and give her my answer. "You first." I answer. I bring the chair closer to the bed and I usher her to sit in the seat. I use my hand to comb out her hair and get to work. When I'm finished I tell her that she can look in the mirror.I watch a smile creep onto her face. I smile in content that she's happy. "Oh my god it's beautiful thank you so much." She exclaims and rushes over to give me a hug. I had given her a braid crown with some of her hair framing her fave. "Okay your turn."she announces letting me go. I sit in the chair and let her do her magic. She brushes my hair first then takes a piece of my hair and starts braiding that piece. "You can look in the mirror now she tells me. I look in the mirror and see that my hair is in its natural waves and I had a fishtail braid. "Thank you so much Bekah." I tell her giving her a hug. We continue hanging out and get to know each other more in the process. I can tell that we'll be best friends for life.
