Deception

Robyn shut her book and watch as Cassandra and the other students hurry out the door. She didn't understand why everyone was in such a rush. Today lecture was the best yet.

Cassandra spoke about the creation of Arlandria. Robyn wish she could steal Cassandra notes and look ahead.

"It's the weekend." Nikki smile. "Cheer up."

Robyn toss her notebook in her bag. "I guess."

"You're such a bookworm." Nikki snorts. "Here. This should keep you tamed through the weekend."

Robyn pick up the small notebook and flip through the pages. She gasp. She couldn't believe what she was reading. Nikki shifts and then explains, "My older sister." She spat and then roll her eyes at herself. "Took the class a few years back. I had to steal it from her."

"I couldn't..."

Nikki shake her head with a smile. "Trust me. I can wait till Monday. You can read ahead if you like. Surprisingly, my sister take really good notes."

Robyn grins and throw her arms around Nikki. The other witch freeze. She wasn't use to this type of contact from other people. Silver was the only person she was use to receiving and giving hugs and other things from. Nikki frown. She didn't want to think about her ex. The one who broke her heart twice.

They didn't have the perfect relationship. But, Nikki had thought the two of them was forever. Robyn take a step back and flip through the five subject notebook. "Thank you so much, Nikki."

"No problem." Nikki shrug. There was something about the other human. Maybe it was the fact that her mother was a nut case who snapped but Nikki usually didn't take well to others. She actually hated other people. Silver was the only one she could stand to be around. Even Harley and Cassa would annoy her.

Robyn gives her another cheeky smile before noticing the time and begins to panic. Nikki chuckles. Robyn has done this everyday since they've met. They would talk and she would sprint out the classroom. Nikki finally figured it was because she was trying to catch the bus. Before Robyn could run off Nikki grab her upper arm. "I can take you home."

"I couldn't ask more from you...

"It's fine." Nikki laugh. "Come on."

Robyn smile and Nikki chew on her bottom lip in deep thought. This was nice. Everyone in the school thought she was a total bitch. And that she was. She wouldn't deny it. But, it was nice to have someone who couldn't judge her for her past decisions.

The drive is silent because Robyn eyes is buried in her notebook. "Who is the Queen of Arlandria now?" Robyn ask curiously.

"Uh. Rue. Violet and Chloe eldest child." Nikki explains.

"Silver older sister?" Robyn question.

"Yeah." Nikki replies. It was nearly impossible to avoid hearing the wolf name. "How is it? Living in the mansion?"

Robyn chews on her bottom lip. "It's okay. Most of the pack avoids me. Silver and Cassa is nice to me and Harley tries."

The car comes to a sudden stop and Robyn notice they are outside the mansion. "If you ever wanna get away. Just message me."
