''Wait, he's alive?'' Bruce asked, confused.
All eyes turned to me. Great, thanks Kitty.
''Um, I mean I only saw him once and haven't seen him since.'' I said.
''Where and when did you see him?'' Alfred questioned, quickly grabbing the phone. Uh oh.
''Um I'm not sure, Friday maybe? It was late. Well he was sorta getting off that bus with all of Strange's experiments.'' I said.
Alfred dialed a number and then asked if he could speak with that Detective Gordon guy. I turned to Selina. ''Maybe we should go.'' I said.
''Uh yeah,'' She said.
As we turned to leave, Alfred stopped us. ''Wait, they may want to question you since you're a witness.'' Oh wonderful.
I groaned and sat down on the couch. Selina hastily followed. It took 10 minutes for the police to arrive. The two men we saw earlier walked in, Gordon and the guy with a fedora. Surprisingly Selina wasn't worried about the cops this time. Or she didn't seem to be. She is good at concealing her emotions. Maybe she is discreetly panicking?
''Hello, I'm detective Gordon and this is my partner, Harvey Bullock. Are you Miss Quinn?'' He gestured to me.
''Yes, that would be me.'' I said. As long as they don't know my full name, they might not send to me to an orphanage.
''So you say that you saw Valeska?'' The other guy, Bullock questioned. I think I like 'fedora man' better.
''Yep,'' I said, nonchalantly.
They narrowed their eyes. ''And?'' I said.
''And that's kind of a big deal. He did murder half of the GCPD.'' Bullock said. Never mind. And half isn't that bad!
''Yeah, I got that. But all I know is I saw him and then he was gone.'' I said.
''And you said he got off the bus that came from the asylum?'' Gordon asked.
''I mean, I guess. Fish Mooney was on there. I guess she was the one driving.'' I said.
They exchanged looks. ''Okay, so we have a revived Jerome Valeska and now Fish Mooney. Isn't that just grand?'' Bullock said.
''You also have all kinds of other creatures to worry about. I saw a guy with like eight arms!'' I said.
They groaned. Suddenly I had an idea. ''Why don't I help you find Jerome?'' I asked.
They both looked at me funny. ''And why would you want to do that?'' Gordon asked.
Because he is interesting to me and it would be nice to keep up the charade that I work for him so Penguin doesn't bother me. ''Well I want to be a psychiatrist someday and it'd be very beneficial for me to observe someone with a sick, deranged mind.'' That works. Not completely a lie anyway.
''You sure you're not some fangirl?'' Gordon said. I couldn't tell if he was joking or not, but I laughed anyway.
''Of course not! He's crazy!'' So are you....

After some more begging, I finally got Gordon to agree to letting me hang out at the GCPD....for educational purposes. Right now, I'm sitting with a nice lady named Lee, who I also learned is Gordon's woman. '' So you want to be a psychiatrist, huh?'' She questioned.
I sat on a stool, swinging my legs back and forth. I popped my bubblegum. ''Yeah! I love learning about psychopaths.'' I said. Well, that didn't sound creepy at all.
Lee laughed. ''Did that sound weird?'' I questioned.
''Not as weird as me saying 'I like looking at dead bodies all day,' trust me, that isn't nearly as bad.'' She says.
I laughed. ''True,'' I said.
Gordon came in and told Lee he was leaving to go look for the 'experiments' from Indian Hill. He said he got a tip from someone that they saw some of them, one of them being Jerome. ''Ooh! Can I go?'' I said, jumping up.
''Well-'' He started.
''Before you say no, think about it this way,'' I started, circling around him. ''Let's say you find Jerome, you running in there, there's a chance he might get away.'' I explained.
''Okay...'' He said, confused.
''That's why you send me in there! He might not run away if I go in there, not with like cuffs or anything, but just with my sparkling personality and persuasive ways.'' I said, smiling.
''But how does that help us catch him? It kinda sounds like we would be setting you up on a date.'' He said.
''Somehow I don't think he's the type to date. Torture sounds about right.'' I said. ''Come on, Jimmy. I can get him and then you can get him and we'll all be happy, all will be swell.'' I persuaded.

I'm sitting in a police car, waiting for us to arrive to wherever they think Jerome is. When we finally arrive, as I go to get out they lock the doors. I start banging on the window and yelling at them. They just continue walking in the direction of the giant building. I huff and fold my arms over my chest.
I could bust out the window......Yeah, use your head! Okay! Not literally, idiot. Harley, focus.
I got bored of trying to scheme my way out of there and just laid my head back. I heard whistling and looked up to see an officer casually making his way to the car. He swiftly unlocked the door and climbed in the drivers seat.
''Um, I think you're in the wrong car....Where's Jim?'' I asked.
And then he laughed, a very familar deranged laugh. Uh oh.
