Just A Few Thoughts

Wattpad Help (which isn't very useful...)

Okay, because I get so many questions about how to get out there, on Wattpad (like I'm even out there myself... *note my sarcasm*), this'll be here.

1. Tags

Use common tags, not too common, but popular, that relate to your story. It ain't that hard. I mean, for example, my first story here, Falling Forever, I just added tags per chapter. Like Chapter 7 (I think...): Kie, I added the tag of "dragons" then, I believe. I have no clue. But it's just an example. Fan-fiction, add it into the title, it helps sometimes. You know, _________ (Sonic Fan-fiction), is more appealing to sonic fans than just ________ (whatever it may be). I mean, sure, you may be able to grasp that from a cover, if you add one, but for people to search it up, they'd have no clue on it. I mean, how does "Falling Forever" relate to Sonic? It doesn't really, but if you read the story, I think it makes a little bit more sense. I mean, I hope. I honestly don't think I'm that great of a writer, but I love writing anyhow. 

2. Titles

Make your titles appealing. Not just dead ship names, like, please. I mean, it tells us what's in the story, but it's over used, and just... It makes it seem like you put little effort into your story, as you put very little into the title... I'm sorry if I offend you, and I have some friends here, and they have titles like that, and I LOVE their stories, and they put so much work into them, I just wish they'd make some extravagant title, to live up to that story. 

3. Descriptions

Drive your readers crazy with curiosity, due to a cliffhanger description. The best descriptions for a book, leave the reader's senses obsessed with the need to find out what happens in the story. Maybe, if you can manage this (I can't in some cases), add some dramatic part, quoted, from a later chapter in your story. 

4. Covers

I know, not many people have an artistic ability (one of my best friends can't even draw stick people, and I know that's a common phrase, but, he really CAN'T. We laugh over it, and I'm kinda proud for my ability, it's not grand, but, it's pretty good, I think.), but finding someone who can give you a cover, worthy of your fabulous stories, my lovlies, is needed. :) I 

5. If you want...

Put it out there. Twitter, Facebook, ect.

Add videos, or pictures.
