"What the hell do we do?" Stiles began to panic as Theo paced around the bedroom, thinking. Theo looked at his bed then looked back up at Stiles.
"Here, go under the bed!" Theo began to push the brown eyed boy under his bed. He quickly jumped onto his bed and pulled the book out from his bag and acted like he was reading when he could hear the dread doctors heavy boots clanking on the ground, getting louder and louder as the doctor reached his room. The doctor opened up the door and it was the Geneticist. "Oh, hey. Did you find your next subject?" Theo put down the book and asked curiously.
She shook her head disappointedly. "Now, is that any of your business?" she asked in her normal drained voice. She took a quick look around his room and he swallowed nervously. "Who's been here?" She asked him.
"Um... no one," he answered slowly. When it came to lying, Theo was the best at it, but something about the dread doctors made him terrible at it. "Why would you think someone's been here? After all, you said no one was aloud around here."
"I won't tell Marcel, Theo," she assured, but Theo didn't want to take any risks.
"No ones here, honest." he sighed and she nodded before leaving. "You can come out now, Stiles. She's gone," Theo told him and Stiles came out from under the bed.
"Okay, its really hard to breathe under your bed," Stiles panted and Theo laughed. his breathing finally became calm after a few minutes of sitting on the bed. "Why is it that the dread doctors are always so creepy and frightening around others but when it comes to you, they seem so sweet and caring?" he asked.
"I guess because they've taken care of me for so long, and maybe the fact that I'm their only success. Hey, did you wanna see something?" Theo smirked and Stiles shrugged. "Stiles, I promise it isn't anything bad. The dread doctors are probably working on their next hybrid, which gives us plenty of time."
"Fine."
Theo walked into the back room with Stiles trailing behind. He peeked over the corner to see the dread doctors working on another teen , who continued to scream, frightening Stiles. Theo held out his hand and Stiles willingly excepted. The two walked into a room separated by a thin wall so the dread doctors wouldn't be able to see them. Stiles eyes widened when he saw a man in a tube.
"Isn't this cool?" Theo smirked at the man and stepped forward, knocking onto the tube. "He was a nazi soldier, or so I've been told."
Stiles looked at Theo and could tell how fascinated the boy was by the way his face lit up when he touched the tube. Theo turned around and smiled at Stiles. "Honestly Theo, you're one of the most disturbed kids I've ever met," Stiiles admitted.
"You should probably go," Theo told him and Stiles nodded. "I'll walk you out to your jeep just incase the dread doctors decide to take you as another little lab rat," Theo joked and Stiles just rolled his brown eyes.
The two walked out to Stiles jeep. "Well, I guess the genuine thing to say would be see you in school," he got into his jeep.
"Yeah, I guess I will see you," Theo blushed and watched as Stiles drove off. He headed back into the laboratory and began doing homework to kill some time. It wasn't until around ten o'clock at night that he was starting to get board. He pulled a pair of shoes on and a jacket. He made sure that the dread doctors weren't around to spoil his fun before leaving through a window.
He jogged a couple blocks down the street until he made it to Stiles' house. The lights were all off except for one in the living room. He shrugged it off and decided to go through Stiles' bedroom window. He didn't realize his bed was by the window and tripped over Stiles, who began to scream and grab a baseball bat.
Stiles quickly switched on the light. "Theo! What the hell are you doing here? I though you were a masked murderer!" Stiles screamed at him.
"Sorry, its just... I couldn't sleep..." he trailed off.
"Oh, yeah, great! Now I'm probably going to have a hard time going back to sleep because every time I look at that window I'm gonna think of a murderer popping in and paying the Stilinski residence a little visit!" Stiles didn't calm down.
Theo just stood there, laughing. "Come on, man. Don't you wanna do something remotely fun?" He wondered.
"Theo, if I'm being honest, then remotely fun to me right now is going to bed and waking up for another challenging day in the world of being a teen," Stiles put down the bat and headed back into his bed.
Theo sighed. "Stiles..." he hummed. Stiles groaned as he stuffed his head further into his pillow. "Stiles, we could always, you know, head out of town for a night or two, look at all the other sites California has to offer..." he continued to hum, crawling onto the bed and putting his chin on top of stiles head.
"Fine," he sighed, giving in.
Theo began to internally celebrate. He was so close to Stiles now, that he could do anything he wanted. But, of course, with Stiles consent.
The two quietly walked out to Stiles jeep. He couldn't be too loud since his dad was sleeping, and if his dad came out and saw his own pride and joy son with a murderer, that wouldn't be good. The only time Stiles was directed to talk to Theo was in school.
"So, where are we going?" Stiles asked, still tucked into his pajamas.
Theo looked at his phone. "There's a pizza shop a few miles down that's open 24/7," Theo suggested. He set up a gps on the dash and Stiles listened to the directions.
"You do realize this could take us many, many hours just to get there?" He wondered.
"Yeah, I know, but as long as I'm with you I don't think I'll mind it too much," he smiled at Stiles. The jeep began to make loud noises and become surrounded in smoke. Stiles clenched his jaw before getting out. He popped the hood and could tell what was happening. He began to grab duck tape and roll it around a loose wire. "Need any help?" Theo asked out of nowhere, making Stiles jump.
"Um, no. I've got it under control," Stiles assured, and Theo headed back into the jeep.
Theo looked around a bit; going through glove compartments and a box in the back seat. It was nothing much. Only a few candy wrappers, pencils, and a picture of him and what Theo assumed to be his mom. The lady in the photo looked exactly like him. He quickly put the stuff away when he heard Stiles coming back.
"We ready to go, or am I gonna have to push it?" He leaned back into his seat.
"I don't think you're gonna have to push it, but get ready just in case," Stiles grunted as he tried to start up the jeep. The jeep finally started up after two tries, and they were on the road again.
They made it to the pizzeria and ordered a large three topping pizza. They took a seat at a booth and started up a conversation again.
"Do you think we'll actually get a good grade on the damn project?" Theo questioned.
Stiles shrugged, taking a sip of the orange soda. "Maybe we should just blow off the project and fail," he answered.
Theo smirked. "I know something I'd wanna blow," he said cheekily.
"You're gay?" Stiles asked, a pair of brown eyes looking Theo up and down.
Theo shrugged. "Aren't you gay?"
"Well, bi, but like, you? You're gay?" Stiles stated.
"Yep, I'm gay," he responded quickly this time.
